some confusion on texas fireball?

ive seen some posts about texas fireball already but i would much like to quote yahoo news with a link ... not to savvy with the quotes but plz take a look at news.yahoo.com... tho they say its not the result of a collision to a russian military space vehicle ... not sure if i know the boundries of russian govt but wasnt sure if the military conducted space missions that explicitly told of military intervention plz discuss as you see fit
