Cops Brainwash Citizens

Have you guys heard of a group called "Chicago's Guardian Angels"?

They basically are average citizens who go around and make arrests. They are not police officers, but they go around and find people who are "suspicious" or "odd" and arrest them.

This is only the beginning. Soon there will be three types of people:

Cops, Normal people, Cop helpers "spies".

This is in fact "spying" for the police. There are also groups currently teaching kids to tell the authorities if their parents do anything "wrong" or "odd'. The state is the childrens friend not the parents. This is what they are being taught.

Sickening.

That is a tad bit frightening.

Similar to Odessa's proposed C.O.P program some years ago that didnt quite settle with the public very well. Citizens On Patrol program.

Most of the argument was that citizens should not be put into dangerous situations going around and spotting potential criminals. It also brought into consideration of potential abuse by appointed citizens.

Most of the protest came from the ordinary populace, but there were quite a few within the law enforcement realm itself that also protested against it.

Havnt the gaurdian angels been going for something like 20yrs or so?
They tried to bring it here to the UK but it didnt really catch on - i think they just became targets for ridicule.

The guardian angels have been around for a long time(in the us). But they are bound by the rules for citizens arrest. They must see a crime being committed in order to effect a citizens arrest. But, any citizen can do the same thing.

The Guardian Angels were found by Curtis and Lisa Sliwa. He's a proto-fascist. Years ago I bounced at a club that one of his offshoot 'Angels' groups targeted for drug trafficking.

We (the bouncers) frequently had to fight these 'heroes' in the parking lot and few times in the club itself.

I rode a bicycle home from the club and was accosted by two of these wanna bes on my way home one night. Got the crap beat out of me because, "I was aiding drug trafficking and prostitution."

Fact was, the club owners prosecuted anyone they saw dealing dope or hooking. But the club had a 1k patrons a night. Sure there were problems but I was just doing a job. I didn't deal dope. But I still had to deal with these idiots.
