stop the socialism?

You do realize it is your free market and privatizing of every functional system that got you, and all of us into this financial crizis in the first place? However I fully understand the frustration of these rescue-packs since it seems theyve been using it to fill up the bonus-pockets for the CO`s and owners etc... but to stop socialism seems a big leap backwards now, atleast thats how it looks from a norwegian perspective

No way!! I think you have it backwards. Moving away from capitalism is taking the step backwards. Socialism doesn't work and never will. It scares me to think what our country would be like any degree of socialism was ever enacted here. Can you imagine our bureaucratic, wasteful, and most of the time idiotic government controlling businesses?!?! That makes me lol.

I don't think the world is on a path to Socialism... I think the world is on a path towards Feudalism.

The 'social' model that is being proposed is actually not social, it's more of a modified serfdom where there will be two classes of people: the commoners (civilians) and the royalty (families who own corporations)

Socialism is where people work for each other, or the government, which is not supposed to be 'owned' by anyone.

America is not on a path to Socialism, it is on a path to Feudalism because in Obama's vision, the people work for each other... and the Corporations!

And who owns the corporations? Yes, the wealthiest families of the world, it is them who will be the future rulers

I agree, america seems stuck in this Red Menace rut still stuck in that cold war programming but this coming economic doom will probably show them why a purely capitalist system is a really bad idea.

The funnyest thing is when you listen to their AM radio, loads of crazy red necks screaming that only jesus will save you from the evil socialists! HAHA the new testiment is more of a communest manifesto than anything marx, trotsky, etc wrote!

It's all down to the good vs bad mindset, good government is capitalist while bad government is communist. This just isn't the case, to have an ideal solution you need a blend of ideas, children should all get a good education -then they won't grow up and be violent idiots who ruin the country and make it so crappy you cant go out. The sick should get treated quickly and well, then they won't get worse and can carry on working.

If everything is done for the love of money then money becomes the only thing which matters, greedy people and liers are the best at making money -just check out Maddof if you don't believe me. We can't have everything in the world controlled by money, it would very quickly become a living hell, the many slaving for the few (oh wai- that's already happened and you hate it, rather than accept its the natural conclusion of capitalism you pretend its some shaddow group of NWO demon lizards out to ruin it all and bring in socalism)

I even think It's a good idea to have money in some areas of life, you work to get money and spend that money on items you want -then if you get sick,laid off, injured, etc you can still survive only you can't have any of the luxury you used to buy with your money. Why does this scare you so much?
