New German Film on Scientology, "The Brainwashers," Now Subtitled in English

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (RushPRnews) 02/15/09- An outstanding new German documentary about the Scientology organization has just been subtitled in English and is now available to watch on YouTube. The 45-minute film, The Brainwashers – How Dangerous is Scientology? appeared on ARD, a major German television network, in late January 2009.
The film features interviews with Ursula Caberta, head of Hamburg’s task force on Scientology; former Scientologists, including several who had held high positions in the organization; and members of the worldwide “Anonymous” protest movement against the cult.

Whatever Scientology is or whatever you think it is it's always interesting to hear about the weird stuff that goes on behind closed doors. Prisons, mind control and a 'fair game' revenge policy. It also mentions the new Cruise film Valkeryie(sp?)
Now it's in English it's worth watching.

Had a look pretty much confirms every opinion I have about the so called church. Good job to the germans, not a phrase I have used much in my lifetime

Oh, the Germans are completely on to Scientology. You should read their government commisioned report about how Scientology is just a device to turn humans in "machines" with no consideration other than keeping the central programming alive. Quite fascinating.

It is completely beyond me how, when most governments have classified Scientology a harmful doctrine, it is allowed to continue operating.

In my own country a high judge declared it a harmful and dangerous cult. Quite interesting then that a teenager was arrested recently during a protest for holding a sign that labelled it a dangerous cult. Quite coincedentally the same police that arrestd him (City of London Police) were revealed to have accepted thousands of pounds worth of gifts from Scientology.

I knew the thing was a joke, but never really understood how much nonsense it really was. This movie was a good eye opener.
