What is Congress doing in Denver?

Obama is due to sign the bill passed last week by Congress in Denver on Tuesday. It was the first major legislative victory of his young presidency, which could rise or fall with its success or failure.

At risk of being banned...I'll try again....this time I will not bring up which party is responsible for this bill, what I personnally think of this bill, and I will not attempt to deify Mr. Obama.

I'll just say simply.

Congress is not going to Denver. They voted for it in Washington DC.

Mr. Obama will be in Denver to sign this bill.

No conspiracy here!?

my conspiracy meter is red lining. the little voice in the back of head is trying to tell me something, but I cant quite hear it.

I don't understand what you guys are trying to imply? What is the conspiracy here? What does Denver have to do with anything?

Doesnt that just mean that one of his aids will deliver a final version to him in Denver and then just fly it back to D.C.?

Obama will be signing the bogus stimulus bill this Tuesday in Denver. It doesn't strike you as at least a bit odd that he will be signing it in Denver? Why Denver?

I've heard conspiracy talk about Denver being the new federal headquarters soon or something like that, not to mention all the weird masonic symbols and creepy murals from the Denver Airport.

So you should be able to see how people are trying to connect this to something conspiratorial.

I am in Denver and I am a member of the Denver Musuem. This is the email I received from them to all their members:

IMO, there is no conspiracy.

Are the creepy murals still there in the Denver Airport? I thought I read awhile ago that they were taken down.

Maybe they were moved to the underground base at DIA? I spent 18 hours exploring that airport in 2007. I was watched the entire time by men that, well, had more than a passing interest.

What do you mean "maybe they were moved?" The murals are either still there in the main Denver Airport or they aren't. Which one is it?

I have nothing more to add.......... I'll just let my last post stand the way it is.

I have not been back there since 2007, so I have no idea if they (the murals) are still there. I just know that I will never go back to that airport again. I felt things that took me 30 days to get over (nausea, bad dreams, etc.)

I think the author of this article on Yahoo needs to learn how to punctuate correctly. That sentence could have two ENTIRELY different meanings.

Geez, you are harder to get an answer out of than a politician.

Colorado is numero uno for you know what. It is the3headquarters of the movement, and that is why the big O is going to sign this bill there.

Proly talk to his handlers too while he's there.

The "General Skeletor" mural has been removed. As far as I know the others are still there. If you recall the General Skeletor mural is the one that resembled a member of the Gestapo killing a dove with a sword.

Diplomat, they were still up when I was there in 2007.

I had researched several websites regarding the airport prior to my trip, so I knew what I was looking for. I was there for a three day Volkswagen training session and purposely chose Denver because of what I had read.

I rode the transit system four times to see if I could see the "bypasses" that I had read about. I saw them.
