psychic dream message

This happened to me about 38 years ago and convinced me that there is more to this world than the "norm". I was about 17 yrs old . I read in a respectable sunday newspaper that some psychic guy was going to transmit his thoughts out during that night . He was going to concentrate on 4 objects and the paper invited anyone who thinks received his message to contact them . I didn't contact them but this is my dream .
I went back into a shop in my home town and asked the woman behind the counter if anyone had handed in my umbrella . She asked me to describe it . I said it was a black gents umbrella with a cane handle.
When I woke I remembered my dream since I have never owned an umbrella in my life . The following sunday , sure enough , an umbrella like mine was one of the items the psychic transmitted . The strangest part is , when I was heading to get my paper , I felt all tingly in my body and supremely confident that Iwas right .
I've never had any other paranormal things happen before or since .Any thoughts ?

i think its further proof that everyone, and everything is connected in this holographic universe.

I really regret not contacting the newspaper . How many other instances has there been where witnesses keep things to themselves ? I did not even read the paper until I got home and made some breakfast . I was absolutely certain of what I would find > It was a wonderfull sensation !

I interpreted it a bit differently. If its a "respectable" newspaper as you say, then there is bound to be a large readership. Out of that large readership there would be a multitude of different dreams. The psychic then focus's on 4 random things that people may be dreaming about. Due to the large number of dreams taking place he is bound to hit upon someones similar dream, giving the illusion that he has unique powers.

I'm not using this as an example to debunk ESP but merely as a jumping point of what I see as the potentials of an interconnected reality.
I think that you had tingly feelings due to the fact that you "tuned" into the same frequency as he was transmitting. The randomness doesn't take away from the "quantum entanglement" type aspect of the situation, it just takes the focus away from the psychic and yourself. Once you are tuned in with each other that's when the fun begins, were currently just scratching the surface and playing around with stuff we don't fully understand.
