Suggest something to stop this is my suggestion, instead of asking questions. That is the point of the thread. To design a better form of government, free from corruption.

You see i think that all politicians should be banned from receiving funding for elections. Furthermore they should be banned from joining any museum, institution or education organization where they could receive donations by proxy. They should serve their constituents only and have no source of other income. This would include their immediate family members to absolutely destroy corruption.

No family member would be able to give them money even after retirement as this could result in deals that guarantee a pension. This would be the hard part of the legislation and requore a great deal of thinking to cover all loopholes. The state would have to guarentee a quality of retirement that would act as incentive based upon years of service to your constituents.

That way politicians would be forced to do their best for constituents or they lose money in their pensions.

I completely agree with you, ImaginaryReality1984. We need to eliminate all "shady" campaign funding, and all lobbyist and special interest gifts and money.

I. That all humans are created equal, from the moment of conception by their unique human spark and pattern,

I would argue this, as we cannot prove the point at which a fetus becomes human, but we do have a number of scriptures from a wide array of dogma, all of which state basically that the soul enters at first breath - including the Talmud, the Hebrew texts that were given to them by the God of the Bible.

So, from the moment of first breath onwards I would make this, because of two important factors:

1. Unwanted children are forced to first breath and then abandoned to the abuse and neglect they nearly always receive. Unless we are prepared to love and care for all unwanted children, we should ensure that unwanted children are kept to a minimum.

2. We need some benchmark, and though religious writings are a less than optimal source to use in deciding these things, they are all we have, barring proof that a soul enters at conception.

A. Yet, by careful logical human analysis, this does not protect the life of an unborn fetus only in such cases when conception was by non-consenting force or by unhealthy familial-proximal partnership, or in such cases when carriage proves life-threatening to the mother;

Why would one decide that a soul is present in life created in all other cases and not in these? I have never understood how one could claim that a fetus is "human" (i.e., possessing of a soul) on the one hand, and then make exceptions to the rule based on nothing the fetus did.

This is absolutely absurd. Better to accept first breath as the benchmark.

The rest of this post I have no issues with.

Exactly, you are right on target and while we are at it limit the Supreme Court and Congress to 2 terms consecutive or not. We do not need lifers in position of power. These individuals become institutions and create a career for themselves. We need representation for the people and not them representing their own interests as the case today. I do not think the original intend of our forefathers was to have lifers in position of power.

A bill should have limits to how many different programs are in a specific bill. Hundreds or thousands of projects in one bill is overwhelming and should be broken down as not to pass things thru that are hidden or not needed such as pork projects that are in the jungle of paper work.

A truely limited government would be a great start with a cap on spending, period end of story. With this limitation including a balanced budget we could actually reverse this so called economic crisis very quickly.

In 1920 we actually had a depression and I will bet most did not know that, but the way they turned it around is they reduced government spending by downsizing and by the following year they had a thriving economy. What happened to the economy in 1929 is what initiated the Great Depression and the reason for the prolonged depression was out of control spending. This is what the government was trying to do spend their way out of the depression with many projects, but again it did not work because the depression lasted 10 years.

Do you think our politicians learned from history? Why heck no they want total control and power over your lives because once they have you the government knows how hard it is for you to ween yourself away from government programs and handouts paid by guess who We The People, thru heavy taxation.
