I would fire this woman immediately. Her stupid laughter is ridiculous and manipulates the audience.

However, I don't expect much from anything that is shown on TV.

Greetings

Clearly a weather balloon.

You clearly have nothing to add, so I have to ask,
Why are you here?! I suggest backing up your claims
and try and be a respectable member. If the topics on
here are funny to you and you wish to make light of them,
you had better be prepared to defend yourself.

Some may ask why I am being harsh and here is the reason why.

A lot of new members lately joining so they can add absolutely nothing.

Sorry folks, just tired of that crap.

Looks like a weather balloon to me. They come in more than 1 shape and size. In fact, the vast majority of OFOs are weather balloons or weather instruments.
You should put me on the ignore list, as you obviously have no tolerance of beliefs that differ from yours.

Really? how can those lights resemble a "weather Balloon"? Just like when you posted on another post calling it a " weather Balloon" when that was clearly a novelty solar balloon? Maybe you should leave the diagnosing to more experienced people and move along to researching weather balloons since this your field.
have a great day!

Some of you people on this forum are just down right clueless or maybe just like to debunk to debunk. I'm tired of hearing the chinese/sky lantern reply to these red orb sightings that come in on a consistent basis. I've seen these red orbs on san diego back in 1996 and they were the same red orbs that were seen on the last two new years in San Diego. What some of you just fail to comprehend is the high luminosity of these orbs. When I had my sighting in 96 a airliner flew directly over my house cutting his approach to Lindberg field since these orbs were in the usual area where the base turn is on landing approach (the pilot had cut his approach to avoid them). The orbs which looked to be about 20 miles away were far brighter then the lights on the airliner over my house. Someone explain this? Sky laterns are candle lit and once they go out , they are out! These much like the video here are much brighter then a candle and as you can see dont flicker and you cant see the inside of a trash bag or whatever material is used to hold the heat. These orbs on this video are far spread apart and a much farther distance to the camera then most realize. If it were balsa wood it would have to be at least a few hundered feet long to hold a formation this far away which is also bogus. WAKE UP PEOPLE AND STOP WITH THE SKY LANTERN THEORY. IT IS BOGUS! I am a pilot and what I saw and what we are seeing in this video is not sky lanterns.

This is gonna sound a bit out there but with regard to the Spanish speaking video, I believe I clearly saw representations of very familiar constellations in the various formations of the 'crafts'. Like Orion at 1:14. Anyone else?

Enough with the weather balloon comment dude. Are you serious or are you using sarchasm.

Do one of these things have to come down and land on your heads for you who deny to admit something is flying advanced craft unknown to the average man.

I only say that due to the fact I have seen them with my own eyes, three to be exact. The brightest and most pure white light I have ever seen, even to this day. The speed and turn manuevers that these craft accomplished, no human could have handled that G force. I watched as one glided around the other two and then shot off so fast that it left a tail of light behind it. It went from 0 to 8,000-10,000 mph in less than a second and no sonic boom, like it was not part of our dimension or effected by any earthly restraints - gravity - pressure.

yes! and one of the dippers in the beginning-then that Y shape later. Good catch, it looked to me like they were dancing around trying to get a message across.

If Phage returns I'm sure he will answer the "lantern" issue better than me but....I doubt that replacing candles with a little battery light would be much of a technological leap.

I too however think the whole "weather balloon" thing could be dropped from any further "useful" discussion.

The lantern theory sounds most plausible to me at this point.

Sky lanterns are not lit by a candles, they are lit (and heated) by a large, paraffin soaked piece of cardboard which produces a very large and bright flame. The lanterns are constructed of various transparent/translucent materials (including clear plastic), which is the point, making them highly visible.

There is no way to judge how far away the lights in the video are. There is no indication that they are connected to each other, in fact they change their relative positions quite a bit (as pointed out by the narrator). Sky lanterns fit the video and the description from the narrator.

how can you make such blind statements? could you please post any video that correlate with what you said?

Check out the weather balloons in this post, and you will see why most UFOs are nothing more than scientific equipment.

Is it just me or is the frequency of these type of sightings increasing? I keep my eyes to the sky hopping to see these things/thing.

It seems to me that they are rising along with the popularity of Chinese lanterns. More and more people know about these things and know they can make them look like UFOs. There are countless admitted hoaxes on youtube made with them.

If they did some kind of wild maneuvers, I'd be impressed. Instead the float along like balloons and burn out.

Hey all, here's a cool one for your consideration. The lights appear to be part of some kind of form/structure. They do not drift as would flares and appear to move in unison. The video is short but clearly shows what this man filmed. So here we go what do have here?

LOL "has the military contacted you to find out what it is?".

Why would they. Those lying bastards know all about UFO's and probably have there own. Man, people really are blinded by the media arent they.

I like to deal from a position of common sense. I like to ask the simple questions first. My simple question: Why do UFOs need lights? I mean, are they afraid we will run into them? Do they get lost from their other UFOs? Are they showing off a new light, so we won't be buying CFBs or incandescent bulbs? Are they having trouble seeing through the night sky? Do they need to show us how technologically advanced they are because they can burn a light bulb? Are they having a sale? WTF?

Hi Jim, I hear what you are saying regarding common sense - I am a big fan of asking the obvious questions too.

However, in the case of advanced aircraft, we have to try to think about a different engineering/technological paradigm. Why would very advanced aircraft utilise anything remotely like present-day engineering?

I have thought about the light question as well. Perhaps the advanced aircraft achieve propulsion by harnessing energy of varying frequencies - one of which may actually correspond to visible light. Or perhaps the light is a by-product of the propulsion system itself.

Maybe whilst using these propulsion systems, the light emission is simply unavoidable. Other dark vehicles may use a different form of propulsion that does not emit or use light.

Not so crazy when thought about in this way. But that's just my opinion.

Cheers!

Phage, I agree that many night-time sightings may be the product of lanterns. Particularly in the UK, where there are many sightings of this type.

These sightings would be much more interesting if the lights would move at varying and/or high speeds. Another poster has mentioned seeing this. I think the lantern hypothesis would have a hard time in that case.

Nobody has discussed fully the Mexican daytime video in this thread. If it's not an outright fake, I think it is much more interesting, because right away we can discount lanterns during the day. Secondly, the way these objects quickly change formation and move at varying speeds suggests something else entirely.

The only prosaic explanation I could suggest is maybe a team of skydivers. But I think these objects are moving too fast.

I'm keen to hear what you think about that video.

Cheers!
