Woo,that's pretty cool. I would have said some kind of icey space object, but that wouldn't account for it dissapearing, and then bursting back into view like that. Unless it just kind of skimmed the outer athmosphere, and came back out. Who knows, nice video.

Filmed in Tomsk, Russia in 2006. There seems to be some kind of wormhole out of which a UFO appears to come.

Here is a another video of a so called "Missle Test". If these are missle test, then why did one occur over Russia? Is it natural to be doing these types of test over populated areas?

I think the video in the OP looks like a rocket launch. The reason that the the rocket exhaust plume disappear for a while, may be that the rocket is behind a cloud at the time, like in this photo:

You can see more photos of rocket launches and exhaust plumes here:

I'm going to have to agree with a rocket, based on the pictures provided by ziggystar60.

There are a few on that moonglow.net page that are very, very similiar to the video. I do sort of wish that it wasnt, and that it really was an alien wormhole, but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.. its probably a duck.

Good videos though, and great pictures on that website as well.

I would say an Earth based rocket launch, yes but more likely with a switch from 1st to second stage motors rather than passage behind cloud.

Thanks for that, starred, when I saw OP's video I was quite flummoxed as to what it was. My immediate thoughts were THAAD or NMD or something more exotic (against both, to my mind, were the size of the contrails). Until I saw the lit-up trail on the excellent photo site.

Fantastic videos and images!

Even if these are bog standard, run of the mill missile tests, what a rare priviledge it must be, to actually be lucky enough to witness something like that!

Awesome!!

Thank you for your kind words, but here what it looks like when someone REALLY come through with the goods regarding rocket launches, exhaust plumes and second stage ignition. I bet you can already guess that it has something to do with a very smart guy called internos, and this is his excellent post from another thread. Read and learn:
