Well I'm pleased I'm not the only one who thinks its quite a disgusting image to use for such an event.....also many people can see a sinister side to it.....which begs the question....

Why on earth are they using this logo when no one likes it??

Is there any supporters of this logo on ATS?...I would love to hear from someone who likes it and think they can explain why its being used!!

I'm also very familiar with Roman rd and the surrounding part of east London....but have never really thought about the relevance to "Zionists" or the "NWO" so I think I'll have to pay more attention when in that area again!!

Back from the Future 2 has definitely inspired the logo.
I had a sweater with a ridiculous pink logo, and I wore it one or two days.
Two days of shame !
Awful logo !

well that cuts it for me ,if I was ever worried about NWO and secret Zionists seeing this has officially erased all my worries

if this is the best that all their money and power can come up with,I'm sure we can take 'em

they are obviously just a bunch of Kindergartners, and they only have two crayons

I also see BJ. It certainly is a hard working logo, or at least half of the logo is hard working. One has to wonder which symbol represents which. I wonder if they will develop a companion logo where someone is getting bent over and taking it from behind.

Those who see zion need therapy. Only if you change the order and turn the 2, or last z, ninety degrees. The one doesn't have a dot above it, that is the next to it, or the fracture of the remaining 2.

haha. What is your take on the logo and its symbolism significance?

What do you do for a living? Advertisement?

i'm a designer / art director. (with huge strengths in typography)

the logo is just pure bad. for an event that is world class, the logo should pay some respects to this.

it's mind blowing how it got through all the committee it takes to push these ideas through at this higher level of visibility. it's the olympics' logo for crying out loud.

as for commenting on the symbolism, i'll have to agree on a figure giving head to another. the shapes don't tell any kind of story, or give the end-user any type of visual theme, it's just abstract garbage. (and 20 years behind the ball at that) even the "cyndi lauper meets molly ringwald" color treatment is bad. (pink can be cool, but not mixed with this 80's angular shape garbage. (just saw the other color treatments, which helps rescue the main color choice, but still...)

i'm a fan of an avant guard design approach, but this isn't one of those cases.

This poster describes it pretty well.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I agree, that's what I see. The guy is on the left, the little square ln the middle is his wee-wee, and the woman is on the right crouching down "servicing" him. It looks like he's holding his wee-wee.

The white circles on her face... well you can guess what that might be. I'll give you a hint, it sounds like "Sea Men".

Although, I see the bottom line of the first two as the erection in question, and the square below as what hangs down below the appendage. Once you see it, it is hard to deny. It jumps completely out at you, and is impossible to ignore.

They probably went and commissioned some big-name graphics designers, who must've been trolling IRL or on some serious drugs, considering how ugly it turned out. Probably the Olympic commission figured that somebody who gets paid to make symbols knows more about them than they do, so they stuck with it.

And then after they'd paid for it, of course they weren't going to change it. Right now, they're saying: "No really guys, it's good, trust us, it'll grow on you. It's BOLD."

Glad it ain't gonna be all over MY city.

I thought this was about our Vancouver one for 2010.
It's just as ugly, but perhaps not as hideous looking as London's!
Either way they're both bad.

I think they have competitions to design them, and whoever picks them has no taste.

Surely this image should be studied by people who can use their imagination to see what the masses will see....

maybe like the word Zion or BJ's??

WTF went wrong here?

Considering it cost over £100,000 to create it's horribly ugly.... how many lives could have been saved with this cash??? Literally thousands, but instead it's in the back pocket of a few fat cats and "artists".

Disgusting.

en.wikipedia.org...:

"Zionism is the international Jewish political movement that originally supported the reestablishment of a homeland for the Jewish People in Palestine..."

ps. I normally do a web search first if I don't understand something before asking questions like yours

uh.. don't kid yourself.

many on this site are well aware of Jewish Zionism.

Your post just lumped "jews" under that umbrella.

not all jews are zionists
and not all zionists are jews.

This logo has got to be one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen. I can see ZION in it but I also see the collapse of something....maybe they mean the collapse of ZION and I say collapse instead of break apart because the supposed numbers are stacked on top of each other. Another thing I noticed is that they completely got rid of traditional Arabic numbers...is that part of the message? What is really throwing me off is that you would think that London would be all about 90 degree angles and perfect squares (if you know what I mean) and this logo has all kinds of degrees.....Can anyone find out what the degrees are in the angles?

Maybe you'll find a whole lot of 34 degree angles which is suppose to be the illuminati signature signifying that they are one degree better than the highest 33 degree Freemasons.
