I love Ron Paul!! Man if and that's a big if this actually is going to pass I think we'll see another JFK, that's my feeling. This guy is one of the very few congressman with enough balls to stand up consistently and speak the voice of America. Most people who actually know what the Federal Reserve actually is will support this bill. Only the ignorant and greedy will be the ones against this bill. Unfortunately the ignorant and greedy pretty much sums up our government and this is why, sadly I doubt it will pass.

If it did, like other times the bankers have manipulated the populace into accepting outrageous conditions through fear and confusion. We as informed people must see past the games these greedy elitists play. It will be very painful but when is change every comfortable and most often the most difficult thing that a person or a society can undertake.

God bless this man, we need many more like him!

I sometimes wonder how he slipped through the cracks, hehe. We are all fools and will have to put up with this tool we call the President for another 4-8 years,

Just e-mailed all of my reps including Kay Bailey. For those in Texas, go ahead and send it to her. She will be running for governor soon and hopefully this will make her stop and think about what Texans are asking her to do in Washington.

I definitely agree with RIPNBYA.

Those of us outside the US (I'm in the UK) are affected by what happens in the US and I hope my American friends can make it through these dark days.

Here in the UK, our Bank of England is equally unaccountable to the people it is supposed to serve. Unfortunately, we don't have anyone like Ron Paul.

As much as I would love to see this sail ... it wont because of the corrupt politicians and thier money.

I hope RP all the best and I support this.

But we all know what happens to those who oppose the Elite.

so mate, We make this happen. We are all tired of living cheque to cheque and being raped by child support, taxation, probation, lack of proper representation and any other fifty cent word that rhymes. We are all tired of hurting becuase we cannot provide a dimes worth of foeces to our children because bills are so out of control. We are all tired of this economic BS that dictates our hard earned American dream.
We the people need to speak up, and I do not mean whites or blacks or hispanics, or blue with frilly polka dots. I mean WE THE PEOPLE> no colour, no religion, just us marching to the FED< and putting an end to it. This is something we owe greatly to our children and was owed to us by our parents. We are always bitching and whining about this that and the other and never do a damned thing to change it. This information alone tells us who the proverbial bad guy is. They will not do it, why do we not? is it also not in the American Constitution to state that when a government becomes despotic that it is OUR duty should we be intelligent enough to see this, to over throw these tyrants and create with it a new security for tomorrow? We lad, are no better then they when we just talk. I am not suggesting hostile take over, I am suggesting what we should have done already. Force by power the people the closure of this institution.

If there is one thing in that statement that anyone can disagree with, then how do you differ from the tyrants that be?

Seriously Dude. Raped by child support?? Probation??

Suck it up and pay up! Child support has nothing to do with this.
Probation......I don't know how to make that work either.

The other thing, you really don't have to spell out the race thing everytime.
I really believe most people don't pay attention to it and don't think in one color until someone brings it up.

All these items are for other discussions at other places.

I will however give you cudos for wanting to unite and stand up to the Fed. Govt.

Reading this article made me quite HAPPY.

The being said, he does not have a snowballs chance in hell of bringing this through and unwinding the damage of the Federal Reserve in the abolition process.

HOWEVER, it was a pleasant surprise to him bring this up on the Congressional record.

The gentlemen who referred to a "sacred cow" may have well hit it on the head though.

I don't mean to spoil anyones day but allow me to offer you the response you can expect. I have well over a hundred of these, all pretty much the same.

This is a note to let you know that I received your email, and I
>>> appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.
>>>
>>> As always, it's good to hear from my constituents. Once again, thank you
>>> for your insight. Rest assured that I will keep your comments in mind.
>>> Should you have additional questions or concerns about this or any other
>>> legislative issue, please do not hesitate to contact me in the future.
>>>
I believe if you care to get your voice heard, CALL or FedX an actual letter or send a telegram. Do it more then once as your anger dictates.
Sending e-mails to your respective Congress Whore is an utter waste of time !
E-mail may make you feel all warm and fuzzy like you have done 'something', In truth, I am relatively certain most understand they will be ignored. Soooooo.......do more.
At the very least you will know that someone actually read what your upset about.
Now that the economy is falling down around everyones ankles, Ron Paul has received considerably more main stream attention.

i am very excited by this news. Ron Paul has massive balls for doing what he does. trust me, massive!!!!!!! respect.

i would favor an Austrian School of Economics revolution to a (blood) red one any day.

call your congressman, your senator, your mayor,
time for all the scholars to unite with all the players!

Ron Paul - Federal Reserve Abolition Act

liberty, property, peace.

The legislation proposed is H.R.2755 and was introduced by Ron Paul on June 15, 2007, with no cosponsors. On the same date he introduced H.R.2754 and H.R.2756 also related to the Fed. All were then referred to the House Committee on Financial Services. There is no mention of any further action.

See: "http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d110:h.r.02755:"

Perhaps someone better acquainted with the process than I am can shed some light on the possibility of this ever getting out of committee.

There goes another trillion dollars out the window.

More spending is on the way.

I'm tired of this crap!!

Something needs to be done. If the USA doesn't change it's ways very quickly we are doomed...if we aren't already.

Now more than ever, we need change.

Well there is not a lot we can do to get the crooks in DC and
Wall Street to change their ways unless your willing to die to
make your point.

I am just preparing a total survival setup, and having backup
hidden in a few locations.

I am just going to think of it as a really long camping trip,
though I imagine that was hard to look at it that way during
the last depression.

I will miss all the modern comforts, but I really do not see this
ending well if we stay this current course.

I am not the first nor will be the last to say this.

Good Luck to you all !

Regarding abolishing the Federal Reserve: I am very suspicious of them creating the money disaste, Paulson pressured the congress to give the banks money; that started a series of supposedly bail-outs: the banks are not releasing the money, so it is not their intention to help the econumy; the war cost must have escalated this money crisis; I don't know how this connects, but I do believe there is something subversive ongoing, and do believe Cheney the Feds and others has a hand in the pot.
