I'd like to see another source, until then I cry BS! Why would they publicly state such a thing if it was actually true. The fact of the matter is most Americans aren't aware of how Israel controls the United States, perhaps because it isn't true. Just some more pathetic propaganda people, move along.

Just in case I'm labeled a Zionists or a Israel lover, I'm neutral in the sense I think both sides are to blame. Peace.

It's fun playing circular logic games isn't it.

The Sharon quote is garbage and you know it. It was claimed to be on a radio show, Kol Israel, and one would think that SOMEONE would have heard it. And yet, no one did. Why is that? Why is the only person who heard the Sharon quote the anonymous tipster who told the reporter about it? No one else listened to the show that had the Prime Minister of Israel as it's guest? It's a lie. It's actually sad that you are even implying that it's true.

So you don't like CAMERA as the source of the Sharon quote being trash? How about common sense. It wasn't said.

So now, 8 years later, we see the exact same quote recycled and again AMAZINGLY no one heard it except this Pakistani paper! Amazing!! A Cabinet member speaks in such a controversial fashion and no one hears it!

You must be very proud of the sources you consider news.

Has the Weekly World News gone back into print?

I agree it does sound like a highly dubious thing for any but the most stupid person to say, and we have to probably take this one as fallacious. Did Olmert say that he ordered Bush to tell Condi not to vote - ABSOLUTELY!

www.google.com...

That is a google search for 'israelis control stupid americans' and the only original source that came up is that Pakistani paper. The other links quote it, but from the Pakistani paper, not on their own.

news.google.com...

This is an all-time google news search for 'israelis control "stupid americans"' and it came up with nothing.

I'm sorry, deny ignorance, the only source that quotes it directly, and all arrows point to this link:

As Proud as you must feel to have quoted the Israeli propaganda machinery - CAMERA. Do they also print the National Enquirer?

I'm sorry... would you mind showing another source besides the Pakistani paper for this Israeli Spokeswoman's comment?

Or will this go the same way as the Sharon comment?

You are conveniently ignoring my question of how in the world it is possible that a high profile official could make public comments that no one on the planet Earth heard except for a "dubious" source.

Would you mind touching on that please?

Actually I did give a further source - it was a Turkish Daily. I think it's on page two of this thread , somewhere before Golemina telling me that Turkish papers don't matter either.

No matter how often you go on about the Sharon quote with the exception of the Israeli mouthpiece CAMERA you haven't proved it to be wrong either.

I am amazed that everybody keeps not addressing the fact that CAMERA is an Israeli propaganda machinery, and secondly that the Turkish newspaper printed the same story.

I think that you quoted the Pakistani Propaganda Machine, called Pakistan Daily. For reference, some headlines for your consideration.
www.daily.pk...

"Indians held in Spain for Qaida links"
"Mark's good news of adorning and throwing shoes"
"US ghost behind Indian terror" (Possibly my favorite)
"Can Islam save the economy?"

They're on that homepage, right there. If this is a non-partisan newspaper, then I suppose you agree with the general points of view taken by this paper, including those about America and India.

Does this look like a Pakistani paper? I am quite willing to debate this with Djarums as he addresses my posts not just repeat the same thing over and over.

And no matter how often you go on about the Sharon quote, with the exception of a poorly written hoax of an article who's source was an anonymous tipster you haven't proved it to be right.

You have no explanation for how a Prime Minister of Israel went on a widely listened to radio show and NO ONE on earth heard his comments except a single anonymous tipster.

It's a lie and it's remarkable how hard you are trying to defend something neither you, nor any other person ever heard.

Astonishing.

As an aside...

I'd love to comment on the Turkish article but I don't speak the language and when I click on "News in English" I get the following:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'

Object required: 'chn'

/dtexpages.asp, line 117

Furthermore, I think Olmert's statement about talking to Bush while making a speech was repulsive and in poor form, but the difference is that one had evidence, whereas the Sharon and Spokeswoman statements do not.

Seems like we are at impasse - I claim it is so and you say the journalist was discredited by a discredited source. It doesn't imply you are right , nor does it prove I am wrong.

The "How to Kill a Palestinian" source does not cite any sources at all. It was clearly taken by the Daily. How do I know?

Another Israeli spokeswoman, Tzipora Menache, stated that she was not worried about negative ramifications the Israeli onslaught on Gaza might have on the way the Obama administration would view Israel. She said 'You know very well, and the stupid Americans know equally well, that we control their government, irrespective of who sits in the White House. You see, I know it and you know it that no American president can be in a position to challenge us even if we do the unthinkable. What can they (Americans) do to us? We control congress, we control the media, we control show biz, and we control everything in America. In America you can criticize God, but you can't criticize Israel."

Now that that source is debunked, I'll move on to the other one. Which isn't in English. It provides the link to Time Turk, I got the English page. The link is available below the quote.

They're all the exact same quote, phrased the exact same way, because they're all from the exact same (partisan) source.

I would have looked into it before providing the same exact article from two different sources, and the additional added by another member just proves how common it is to take an article from one paper, not even bother to edit it, and post it as your own.

The links are there. Go look yourself. If it was real, the quote would be the same, but the paragraphs themselves would not just be copied.

Deny ignorance, please. It's okay to be wrong, really.

You're right... that probably won't go anywhere then. So maybe the other part of my question?

Which was...

How is it possible that these two statements made by high profile Israeli officials were not heard by anyone else? Particularly the Sharon statement which was supposedly said on a radio program. How can that be?

Actually I am going to give you that this thread was based on a fictional quote. I try to be fair so I followed every lead I could to ascertain it being so and finally I seem to have found the mother of this "quote". The author admits "Now, after this imaginary but very realistic introduction, we shall view the pictures of these “evil terrorists.”

Lying blog

It seems that Islamic propaganda picked it up from there.

Score one for Djarums and Israel.

The other one, Sharon" I am still not buying especially in the light of CAMERA's insidious manipulation in wikipedia etc.

Is that really fair?

We're debating something and now you've decided what "team" I am on?

Interestingly enough my own research showed a strange anomaly.

Typing Tzipora Menache into google returns ONLY stories about this supposed statement... No bio page or anything, which would normally be the case for someone who is a public spokesperson for the Israeli government, so that's kinda weird isn't it?

I am sorry that you saw it as a Djarums AND Israel win. It was meant as two entities who both won the argument.

I have already given you the link to the originator of this fake article and admitted defeat. I however also googled her and found no less than 731 entries, I just wasn't in the mood to follow each of these entries up individually because I already found the quote to be bogus.

I didn't start this thread, but I was the one who debunked it. If something is patently not true it would be stubborn and stupid to stand by it just to make an argument appear stronger.

I'm a bit puzzled by this whole thing...

I can't find this woman... does she even exist?

The quote first appears on Google on 12/31/08, but other than those articles about the comment, she appears nowhere!

I am stumped.
