This will never happen as most people have said, UK isnt an Empire as it once was and after years of degrading the Military by cutting funds and so on.

Of course we Brits had been fighting since 1939 during the so called Phoney War and by the end of September 1940, we had all but destroyed Adolf's mighty Luftwaffe so he could not invade our Majestic Land and what were you Yanks doing?

England has contributed a pittance to Iraq and Afghanistan. Afghanistan, by the way, is a NATO mission. Don't want to be involved, leave NATO.

No one in Europe needs a nuclear arsenal. Regardless of all the animosity towards the US by W. Europeans, we will always come to the aid of the less fortunate.

The UK committed 45,000 troops to the invasion of Iraq, hardly a kick in the nuts.

The only other European contributor was Poland (194 troops).

With an attitude like yours I wonder why we even bothered.
