The 'What happened to that ATS Member?' thread

You ever wonder what happened to an ATS/BTS member when it seems like they don't post for a long time, or even disappeared forever? I sure have, and I really miss a few of them, even despite the fact I may have rarely if ever agreed with them!

Well I have a hunch some may still be here from time to time, but with new accounts, shedding their old names. All it takes is a change of IP to go really incognito! Even though yes, I know, some people have multiple accounts sharing the same IP to account for different family members or even friends using the same computer or on the same router.

I will list some members who seem to have disappeared, or haven't logged on in a long time, and if anyone has any info them would sure be appreciated! Mostly it would be just nice to know that they are ok! And obviously if you have the same question about a member, please list it here, and maybe someone can help!

Wierd how that is, to "miss" a cyber-friend, huh? I kinda miss a few, too!
I don't recognize those names, except AceOfBase, I'm pretty sure I've seen that one somewhere on the boards...but sorry, can't help more.

funny thing is, although some get banned, some actually just lose interest in being here, or pass away and we would never know, or have life deal them a bad hand and they cannot be here.

However, it is site policy that we should not really talk about banned members in public, lest this turn into another shouting match and badmouthing ATS thread. That is not what this thread is for! Just a note.

They don't seem to mind if you do it in U2U's though.

I don't know about any of the other members, but I myself was wondering what happened to steve-o. He hasn't been on in months.

I take my previous statement back. I just saw that steve-o made a BTS post not too long after I left my last post here.

About members missing in action-
I know only a few actual emails for some of my fiends, (thru U2U's) and none for anyone else! So if these people weren't on in a while, I might be able to contact them that way...but as for the rest, I know nothing!

We are discouraged from putting any personal info on boards, or even U2U's, so the anonymity stays intact. (Good policy). I'm wondering what our capabilities are in going beyond this, to find out about them?

I was thinking about that. There are probably quite a few people who slipped by without a black banner on the logo.
