Nah, that unit is WAY beyond it's life expectancy, especially in such an EMF rich environment.

It probably won't be long before it stops reporting anything at all.

Sounds like a doozy! what if they built a prototype and are in a "testing phase"? do you think they would let you know? Man how cool would it be to know that something you designed and built has gone to mars!

I would hope they at least throw a rock my way.

I would be happy as a Martian clam if they use the idea and give mention, maybe engrave my name on it and get a picture of it. That would be very cool.

Well I hope they don't try to steal your design, and if they throw you a rock I hope it's one of those that moves and leaves all those trails on the martian soil
