Spied on since she was 10

You are never too young to be regarded as a potential subversive, a Security Intelligence Service file shows.

Maire Leadbeater, now 63 and a long-time activist on peace issues, was an early target because of her Christchurch parents, Elsie and Jack Locke, who were prominent members of the New Zealand Communist Party and community activists.

Wow. I was one of those who was of the opinion that things like marching in a protest or being on ATS would not bring you to the attention of the "powers that be". After reading this I am wondering if I may be wrong. Or maybe I am just ignorant. Either way it was a shock to me that the SIS spy on ten year olds.

Oh it gets worse....... much worse. Public schools are more like screening factories that both mold minds and identify those children who will not accept the state programming. Many teachers and principals are connected to state and vigilante organizations and use their positions to begin the process of identifying and isolating "problem" children. You do not have to be born into a "radical" family to be spied upon. All citizens are assessed and categorized according to their acquiescence to the "system".

Now as a citizen of the Kingdom of God I interpret the process as a spiritual analysis of each and every child. If you do not believe in the "spiritual" perspective than at least know this... the hairless monkeys who we call humans rule their tribes with an iron fist punishing each and every member who dares subvert the "pecking order". Any PC University social scientist will affirm this fact/truth. The alpha monkeys are paranoid as hell and will do anything and everything to maintain their position within the monkey troop/wolf pack/etc... including creating "files" on each and every child that is born within their territory.

Ironic though, her parents and bro being supporters of a system which would have made this sort of monitoring rather childlike and innocent!

iro·ny The definition of irony, in the simplest form, is the difference between what someone would reasonably expect to happen and what actually does. Meaning that something that happens that you would not ever reasonably expect to happen is considered irony.

Living in a "free" nation... the USA although chock full of "irony" is more a "Kafkaesque" experience. The most dangerous deception is that which is not suspected to be what it is in fact is.

Irina Ratushinskaya a prominent Russian dissident, poet and writer of "Grey is the Color of Hope" observed upon leaving the Soviet Union that "it was easier to live in the SU because there they knew who the Devil was.... while in the West it was almost impossible to know". How "ironic"...... isn't it???

63-10 = 53.

What the hell man, whats the point of raising an event that happened half a decade ago, amidst the Cold War hysteria and in the aftermath of WW2 (when the government basically controlled the entire lives of everyone).

Makes you think about what you type on the boards huh. When you know in the back of your mind you could be digging yourself a bigger and bigger file at the security dept.

And when SHTF ect. are they going to look for the people with big files?

It really wasnt better living in the SU than the west, no amount of relativism and quoting a woman, who makes such a statement, but spent 4 years in a labour camp for "anti soviet " agitation has just swelled the "irony" levels on this thread.

Oh.....yeah......... COINTELPRO, MK-ULTRA, Stasi-Gangstalking, Patriot Act, etc...... everything is "relative". "We may not be perfect but we are the best there is... Love us or leave us...... You are either with us or against us......"

Oh... yeah..... I hear ya' brother. If you think it is bad here.... you oughta' see what "they" do over "there".

Now Jesus said....... Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

No excuses...... there is no "relativism" in the KOG.
