Internet hackers have managed to gain access to the details of millions of job seekers in one of the country's biggest cases of internet data theft, stealing names, passwords and email addresses.

Four and a half million people are registered with recruitment giant Monster. The company has now warned customers the hackers could try to use their email addresses to access further private information, like bank accounts.

This is the third time the company has been affected by a serious breach of data in two years.

Luckily my email on monster is to a generic account I created which isn't linked to anything. Seriously; if people take their internet security serious, you'll never use the same info on those sites that you would for your own banking etc.

Personally; my banking login/passwords are a twilight zone in difference to what my work/personal use email/passwords are. Too many hackers with too much time and lately, not enough money and far far too much talent are about.

I just saved the Resumes at Monster and then deleted them.
I also had to call them on the phone to have them delete my account.

If a company cannot be secured, then I will not use that company.
Problem solved.
