SEVERE Cruelty to our Furry-Friends in China....this is really bad guys :(

This is a call for signatures to a petition to help stop the LIVE skinning of cats & dogs. Yes that's right, LIVE... Imagine someone going up to your dog or cat and skinning it live. This is happening today in 2008 in China and it is DISGUSTING.

Guys....I just watched this video, and I surely cannot believe this is happening, I could hardly stand watching it .....Im telling you -- it is so horrific. I have donated my money to this organisation , and wish there was something else I could do. I just felt like kicking the guys that were doing this to the animals.

I work in the fashion industry, and do see a bit of fur on some of the labels, -- knowing it is cat or dog, but also knowing theres not much I can do. I would never buy an item of clothing with real fur on it , -- but before watching the (above) video, I had no idea that this was the way they took the fur.

I spent 2 years in China, and was horrified at the way they treated the chickens -- but nothing I saw compared to this.!

I made it 45 seconds into the video and had to turn it off, I've commented on another thread with a simmiler topic and this makes me sick and disgusted to even call those people who do that human, they don't care and they will continue to do this regardless of what protection organizations try to do. this is the reality of the situation it is unfoutunate but nothing can be done except to not buy products coming from china that incorperate amimal fur.

That was the worst thing I have ever seen. Signed. I cannot believe that they would do such a thing, whats worse is they leave the poor things alive because its easier to skin them? What if one of these days aliens came and decided that they should be left alive so that they can do the same thing to them because its easier?

Yes, I know alyosha, ....true, --- I just dont understand it though,,,, because there are some amazing fur imitations on the market at the moment....

Perhaps the people that are buying these furs may think twice after watching that video....Id have to say its probably one of the most heart wrenching painful things Ive seen in a long time, ....

I am sorry to say but skinning a dog or cat alive is not the worst they do. They harvest human organs from prisoners on the way to the airport to ship them and no one said anything about anesthetics being used.

You can get a bowl of soup with a cooked human baby in it for 4000 RMB in Guangzhou. Yes it is advertised and legal. No I will not post the pictures, they are just to disgusting and graphic. The bust way to describe them is like cutting up a chicken but they leave the head on.

Believe me, you have no idea how they treat the other animals. Ever see a fish cooked alive and done in such a way as to have it still living when it is served?

And you thought skinning a dog or cat alive was bad, that is just the tip of the iceberg they do much worse things then that.

I've never seen anything so filled with horror as what I saw in that video. I could actually feel the deep, burning pain of the animals as their skin was torn from their bodies and a sharp pain in my head as they were whacked with the back of the knife. I swear on my life, if I was present when these people were doing this, I would shoot and kill every single one of them. They are inhumane (inhuman, too), and don't deserve to live another second on the Earth.

although the desire for justice for the animals involved is great I think that is too extreme.

My B.S alarm is going off right now1 they do charge people with murder there so why would thy do as you describe? it make no sence.

Actually it's not a baby, it's an aborted fetus. It is really sick, they believe that by eating it, they can absorb the vitality of the fetus.

Your correct in your terminology but even if it is in the last trimester doesn't matter. There is no mistaking if for something else, they are cannibals. They had a writeup in the GZ post a couple of years back about the restaurant with the happy owners picture in the article. He said that he ate at least one bowl a week to keep his vitality up.

As for those that think its bs, come to China and see for yourself. I'll be happy to give you a barf bag before you take a look and then watch them eat the baby.

Watched them hang a goat by its neck and they just sat and watched it swing until it choked to death laughing and joking about it.

I believe crime on life is still a crime on life no matter the method or victom. Yeah, there are alot of sick acts that people do to animals and other human beings out there, there is no justification for it nor denoting it by comparing it to another situation. This is what I think anyway. And yes I can confirm that the Chinese do eat baby fetuses in soups, I visited China during my last year in highschool. While I was there, I went to eat at a restaurant in Guangzhou, I listened in on a waiter asking another table if he wanted the spare rib soup. I thought "hey that sounds kinda good" so I called the waiter over and asked him how it was prepared, he told me that it was a vitality broth made with fetus. Horrified of course, I got the hell out of there. I know it sounds arrogant or ignorant or whatever, but I will never eat chinese food again.

The fact is, there are 1500 things that they will execute you for and having baby soup ain't one of them.

Now when they decide to have puppy for diner there is no such think as kill it first before they skin and gut it. Ya they do that too. At least the cat gets to fatten up a little first. They have fresh dog and cat right here at the market still alive and kicking all you got to do is pick the dog or cat and they do the rest for you while you wait.

No. So called "humans" like that need to die asap. Anyone whom could do such a thing to another living creature has no use to live any longer.

I too would shoot them dead so that they could re-live and feel personally all the suffering their actions have done to each and every one of Gods creatures they tortured for a paycheck. Each one.

And then what would you say if someone else passed the same judgement on you? I feel your anger, and i agree this is sick. However I would rather them be put in prison so they can think and then feel the guilt while they are alive, it is a much worse punishment.

I heard about that soup man, sounded too crazy to be true. I don't think it's real. I have a few friends out there and they say there is nothing like that.

Regarding the video... I couldn't even make it past 15 seconds. Anyone who knows me knows I don't mind a bit of gore but this is intensity in ten cities. Thanks for highlighting this. Doesn't it just make you want to go and kick **** out of the people doing this?

As always though... the cause of this evil can be traced back to a capitolist society making people do anything for money.

Disgusting. I guess I can take comfort in knowing that once this global economy collapses, they will be eating themselves alive one day soon now. I recommend boycotting ANYTHING coming from China. Bad karma trickles down, and buying made in China can be linked to why the economy is tanking here too. In fact, toss out everything made in China before bad karma trickles down upon thee.

i made myself watch the whole video. how does someone do that for a living? i would be a male prostitute before i took up an occupation like this. Why don't they kill the animals first for that matter? do they enjoy the yelping and screaming? i just don't understand how someone could be that desensitized.

The Soup tastes pretty good. Kind of like roast pork. Mine had lots of spring onions and some sesame oil in it with a hint of ginger.

This thread is to much. the OP admits to making a living in an industry that uses animal fir, then cries about it, yet still continues to personally profit from the cruelty. The rest of you I am sure wear leather and eat meat, yet make no mention of how inhumanely those animals are killed. Ever see a cattle slaughter house? How was that McBurger you just ate.. yummmm Enjoy those"cruelty free" Chicken nuggets, or that supposedly (not) Dolphin safe tuna (which is also in no way Sea Turtle safe). If you eat ANY kind of flesh, or wear animal byproducts, then count yourself in with those cruel heartless animal torturers. Disclaimer: I eat meat and wear leather, but not fur as it is just tacky.

This is not a pretty world we live in and mans inhumanity knows no bounds.
What about the over 400 children just killed by Israel, some horribly burned alive with white phosphorus, an illegal war crime if there ever was one? No one seems to count those souls in when talking about severe inhuman cruelty.

It is easy to sit in a nice comfortable home, with a fully stocked supermarket nearby, where someone else has to slaughter the animals, and make judgments on others. But you should first look a bit closer at the life you lead and everything it takes to support it. No one is innocent, and you would do better to take personal responsibility in your OWN life rather than sign a meaningless petition that wont have any serious effect on the situation. If animal cruelty is an issue with you then change your way of life and get personally involved.

Or... you can keep on working in that fashion industry, and tell yourself, its Ok cause "I signed a petition." Paycheck please, pass the veal cutlets and gravy, I'm hungry.
