Two words: Phil Snider (spelling?). He built a tunnel boring machine that melts the rock and dirt debris and they cool to form a glass/pumice inner wall. It's a simple and ingenious way to tunnel ("simple" being an intentional understatement).

I thought when I was a wee lad digging a fort for the Runnymede Street Militia dirt clod and sling shot artillery division: Teacher says glass is made of molten sand. Sand is made of tiny rocks. Dirt is crushed sand. Why not just make a reverse vulcanic tube?

I'm not sure if Phil's invention was ever sold commercially (there would be too many contracts lost in the million dollar a foot train tunnel business), but it's perfect for the secret underground base business. No dirt trail to follow!

Someone in ATS Chat threw me this link stating that what they are hearing/feeling in Okla. (and other places) is the cause of TBM's (Tunnel Boring Machines). Very interesting link in the fact that this company is based in Italy and has shipped/leased these things to the US for use. They have a list on this page of recent contracts which lists such places as Alabama, Georgia, Ohio, Mass..... Im sure they wouldnt list anything that was to be under the radar but I found it interesting nontheless.

TBM's

any thoughts?

Not sure if it is related to this but there was an earthquake detected in Grady county OK. How far is this from Sequoyah county?

i just saw that
thanks. Its not super close but what's conisdered close in earthquake terms lol i have no idea. i would say (growing up in socal and being used to earthquakes) that an earthquake of that size would not be felt too far from home and it wouldnt reach the area in question. But like i said, im no expert. Is one related to the other? probably not unless what is going on somehow affecting the fault line... Anyone know what the fault line is through Okla?.

I found this news story on CNN and thought it was interesting. Here is a county in Oklahoma that is baffled by a strange muffled explosion sound and then a rumbling tremor that follows. The police have received (and are receiving) numerous calls and have investigated all the possibles explanations with no answer to the mystery.

My thoughts..... underground explosions. Possibilities... underground tunnelling? Underground Installation? Underground Weapons testing? Another point of interest, it started the day our new president took office. Unrelated? maybe.... just a point of interest

Your thoughts?

(also this is my first thread as I found this story to be quite interesting in it's mystery
. I hope I put this in the right area and appreciate your comments.)

Without a doubt, this has got to be a HAARP test. The fact that it is heard at noontime every day, in the geographic middle of the continent, and the ground shaking, and the secrecy, all point to this.
If they conducted the tests at any other time than noon, say, in the early morning, people would tend to see the flash, be it white or color.
The regularity of the blasts also show that it is a planned, intentional thing.
Why do so many people say that this is a natural phenomenon, or that it is mines collapsing, etc.?

My 2 cents:

I used to live in Chesnee, SC. I was watching someone's dogs at their house for quite a while. One night, They all started to bark their heads off, so i went out to see what was going on.

What I saw next threw me completely. behind the house, there were flashes of light, and what sounded exactly like artillery. For a minute, I thought the whole property had been dropped off in Gaza. This went on for about a half hour. Next day, I drove out to where it sounded like it was going on. I found NOTHING. Farmland, more farmland, and roads. This was located right behind the ridge behind the other person's property, and I knew where I was going.

In an somewhat related incident, for a solid week months after this... I could go outside right around 6:27 pm, and there'd be a dancing cluster of lights right at the wall of an old abandoned house. not on- AT. And I know it was abandoned... I had to go retrieve dogs from it once- looked under the place, too. These lights were as red as lasers... In fact, I saw the whole mess thru binoculars- it is was a dancing red light. It was still technically daylight out as well.... I searched (once again) all over for a source. Even pulled up Google maps and scoured the countryside by air. No dice. What really made this weird was how it 'sensed' I was heading towards it and disappeared. After a couple times, it left for good.

I am in the Ithaca, New York area, and every day lately, not sure what times, the windows of my house rattle. For no particular reason. No noises, no trucks, no loud bass speakers around, no heavy equipment nearby, nobody even driving by. Just the windows rattling hard several times, then stopping. Very strange.

the moles are digging everywhere.......making underground kingdoms for us humans.

and when the great pseudo catastophe approaches well all be ushered undergournd to apparent safety.

and there underground we will be trapped,an underground system of perminant mind control, they built it all to be our grave.......no safety for us.....a mind control trap...theyve built every inch of it to be a prison for us.

when the day arises dont fall for it......they wish to eliminate our civilisation, make us leave the surface so it falls apart, even a few years will be long enough for it to degrade.

and while we hide, the waters of the oceans will rise and drowned we shall be.

dont ever leave the surface for their trickery, dont ever let our progress fall,if you should leave head to the future, the past or to space.
or the moon....the moon, dig to the core of the moon and usurp the moles.

We have salt mines under Lake Erie which probably exlplains the machines here. However, We also have NASA Glen Research center nearby. Late at night loud humming noises and even low rumbles seem to come from that direction. The noises are said to be from wind tunnel testing or engine testing. Eh? Who knows? This is an interesting thread nonetheless.

18-wheelers and snowplows rattle my windows and make the ground seem to vibrate. I think it's actually my floor vibrating like a drumhead from the sound waves or vibrations from the trucks. I'm staying tuned to find out whats the dealio in Oklahoma.

Curiously-the same thing was happening in carroll co. Arkansas just last week-I heard on the radio that people were calling in thinking there was eathquakes happening, and there windows were shaking, and the earthquake center for Ar. said no activity was going on.Carroll co. is not far from the oklahoma border-bout an hours drive.

Extremely interesting. I would first of all think it could be military testing but the article says otherwise. When I was a kid my dad worked demolitions in the army and they had a testing plant located about 50 miles or so away from us. We use to feel rumblings after an explosion and even sometimes the windows would shake from it. Assuming its nothing seismic or military really narrows down the possible options.

I have seen some very weird weather phenomenon before and I have no idea what this could be. Just to throw something out there, maybe something like underground tunnels. If I were in this situation and there was any military facilities located around I would probably assume they were testing or were up to something and would not tell the public about it. I would do my best to locate the source location of the rumbling if possible.

Very interesting though and very weird also.

There are many fault lines here, but the reason they say its not
seismic is they get no depth reading on the event.

All quakes they get a depth reading.

Grady county is not near that area.

It is far to the west of Sequoyah.

Grady County, Oklahoma

Sequoyah County, Oklahoma

Sequoyah is almost in Arkansas, and Grady is almost in Texas.

They are a long ways apart.

Has anyone checked for Fraggles?...

I posted in the other thread that I do have family in that area...if I come up with any local buzz I'll post it. Interesting that, happening on somewhat of a time schedule...!

If boring machines are being used would they register a seismic reading?

CT that I am, how do we KNOW that all seismic readings listed by USGS are actually being listed? They may get a call every once in a while saying, "leave this one off your list for reasons of National Security".

MrsDurdura (?) asked earlier why google earth would have every square inch of Missouri mapped. Missouri has more caves and underground entrances than any state in the union and new entrances are being discovered on a regular basis.

Maybe the underground entrances are being joined?

Is this it?

Is someone preparing a major catastrofe by manipulating fault lines?

Preparing underground networks for FEMA?

Scary stuff!

I had not thought about that possibility but it has been said that there are way too many of us "on" this earth and that for "sustainability” there should not be more than 500,000 so maybe underground cities are not that far fetched.

I know that China is trying to build cities on and under the oceans so why not under the earth?

Now of course how they get us to volunteer to take up residence in those places is another thread.
