This is just like the nuts that backed McCain. Not all are a bunch of racist/religious zealots. And McCain is a good man. With the Obama people, you get a few who are already a little nutty and their own desperation and mental illness is given an out with the kind of man Obama is. Who I believe is also a good man. But one shouldn't paint all with the same brush.

If you are not familiar with the way Obama pronounces his last name, there is no way to see through this prank. I listened to the message three times, and the only evidence that President Obama impersonated a big, black mama is the word "Obama." He's an excellent phone impersonator with a great sense of humor.

Deny ignorance indeed..

Whatever fuels the fire.

Tell me, why is everyone so quick to take this as legit? Where did it come from?

Nope, Ive never heard something like this on Howard Stern and similar radio shows before. But cherry picking is nothing new here, where "deny ignorance" is thrown around so much, until it fits with so and so's ideology.

"Supposedly, this was left at a Citbank about delinquent car payments."

Maybe "...sometimes" , should be added to the end of the tag line.

I think this is just an indicator of the unrealistic expectations that many Obama supporters have. They never troubled themselves with actually listening to what he said, nor did they take the time to read his platform as posted on his official web site.

They had no idea of what he stood for, nor in what direction he planned to take the country. All they knew for sure was: (A) he was Black, (B)he spoke well, and (C)that he made them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Where he came from, or what he had accomplished during his political career were just so many irrelevant factoids. Sadly, many didn't even know who his running mate was.

Obama didn't promise them a rose garden or a Cadillac in every drive, he promised them change. In what manner that Change may manifest itself is yet to be seen. If they now wish to avoid future disappointments, I suggest they read this post. It outlines what we can all realistically expect over the next four years.

I'm gonna run that line when I have to pay my truck loan or pay my credit cards.

Obama's a white cracker like me. Does this mean I don't have to pay?

I call him white because he's 1/2 white which means white. Isn't this how the blacks are perceiving his color????

Maybe the math is like the ebonics, specially formulated by their race for their race.

Ha, that's funny, sad and scary all at the same time.

Reminds me of the lady that said if Obama got elected, she would longer have to worry about paying for her gas and her mortgage.

Fact 2 - A trillion $+ package will not help the economy

Fact 3 - This thread is fail..

Here is another example of false entitlement

I grew up in a racist family, in a racist town, in a racist state, in a racist country, in a racist World. You strike me as racist. You assume she feels "entitled" as so many poor blacks are accustomed to "entitlements" in your view. her language tells you she is poor, despite you having no idea of her financial situation, maybe she borrowed so much she can't make her payments, a pit even the rich fall into at times. You take from her language that she is another poor illiterate black woman and so may likely be a "crack fiend"
You seem to me as though you are a racist and are beyond hope and reason, next...

Alexandro...

Evidently you didn't read the first page of this thread. Which had that same video posted.

Well this is what I said to it then.. and it still applies.

Notice she didn't say that she wouldn't have to pay her mortgage or put gas in her car.. she said she wouldn't have to "Worry" about it.

Which means she believes Obama is going to have a positive effect on the economy.

This seems very reasonable to me. I mean, that's why we elect a president, so that we don't have to worry about stuff that is basic. Obviously we pay or mortgage and put gas in our car, but now of all time there are more and more people VERY WORRIED about being able to pay their mortgage. And here in Atlanta last fall we were VERY WORRIED about being able to put gas in our car because not only were prices high... there was NO GAS in the southeast for about 2 weeks.

This isn't hysteria... this is someone hopeful that the President she voted for will have a positive effect on ills that plague our economy.

no, its not how the african americans perceive it. its how the rest of the WORLD perceives it. "his skin color has some pigment to it, hes not white." jesus f christ, some of you people really make me hate the human race. how can some of you be so down right bigoted? you do know that not all african americans use ebonics right? we dont all sag our pants? hell we dont all like chicken. but we all have a common enemy, and apparently its people like you who only see race. i voted for barack because something inside me told me he was going to be a great president. not because of his proposed" hand outs, hell i dont need one nor would i want one, but because he appears to have compassion for ALL people.

one person on here said something to the effect that they voted for obama because he was the son of an immigrant. i would take it a step further. i am african american. i have friends of all races, religions. if i were to poll every african american i know, i promise that 95% of them would tell you they voted for obama because he vowed to help the economy. sure, there are some out there who literally believe hes going to award them all something, but then there are those, like myself, who realize that the greatest hand out he could possibly give is to help America REBOUND to the great super power we once were.

all you people wishing ill will, or spouting off all this negative talk, shame on you. dont be afraid of CHANGE. because the world is changing, America is changing, id advise you not to get left out.

im no troll. ive been reading these forums for quite some time. and day after day i see some more BS involving race and obama this and obama that. some of you really need to step back and reexamine your lives.

just my 10 cents.
from one world citizen to others, rise above our petty differences. the color of ones skin is minuscule compared to whats in a persons heart.

Well so it does, can't see youtube embeds from my cell phone so I apologize for jumping the gun.

Not worrying means ignoring the situation, which means the responsibility gets neglected, which eventually leads to non payment which then leads to conveniently blaming others.

Why so quick to defend?
Almost sounds as if you are willing to make the payments for her?

I did not vote for Barak. Not because he was black but because my opinion on the issues is different than his. Just as if he were white, Asian, Latino ext... I am very happy that America has a black president I think this is a wonderful thing because ability and intelligence is not a race or ethnical back ground. But I feel that Barak will be a huge disappointment to so many who are literally banking on him (Example: the recording and video in the above). I am afraid he is just the front man. The man that whoever (the powers that be) knew would get elected in large because of his color and he will be used as a puppet. That is my fear. That and the fact his name is Hussein everyone just acts like that s not a big deal. How quickly we forget.... 9-11.....

I think that before people start jumping up and down and getting their hopes up because Obama is in office now, everyone should wait and see what he does. Even IF he does try and help the average joe out; there are somethings that he will not have any say in. Even the President of The United States of America is not ALL POWERFULL. He is not GOD. So let's all just take a chill pill and Listen and Observe him over the next little while and see if he lives up to all the hype before becoming all excited in either direction. Talk and promises are one thing but action is another.

You know what's ironic about her statement to no other than citibank is that he voted for GW's bankster bailout. So she must not know what we know and that is the bailout that he and McCain pushed for was in fact bailing out the corrupt. I'm afraid she's going to be disappointed in our new president with actions like that.

Seriously Obama will not all of the sudden make the poor richer, even in great economic times there are the poor and the rich. Everyone has to worry about something, one man will not make that go away. Only you can. If people want to be equal with everyone else money wise, go to a communist country, you know how great that works out.

The problem with the majority of the black population is their brought up with low expectations in poverty and have been lead to believe whitey & the man is against them, but what they need to realize is they are totally equal to each one of us and have the power to change things. Obama is great in this respect, definitely a role model, but he can't change your life. Only you can.

Please do not take this the wrong way. I am not predigest at all. But I do live in the south and unfortunately I know a lot of people who are predigest, and I heard more than one person say (when Barak was voted in) that they did not have a problem with Barack being president but that they were going to have a problem with all the cocky mo#*t*er F*%*ing black people now that they had a black president. Now I do not agree with this statement but it is relevant to the point I am going to make. I fear that tapes and videos like this will start racial tension and ultimately explode into civil unrest between the races. I am afraid that the good old boys who made the statement above will see these as validation of their thinking. This really scares me.

So you believe that the truth is a dangerous thing? People like this woman truly believe Obama is the answer to all their problems..

As for the video, it speaks for itself and requires no interpretation. Should we all just cover our eyes and ears, and pretend we didn't see or hear these things because the authors happens to be Black? Sunlight is the best antiseptic in most cases..

Of course not. I do not care if the author is a green little man in my eye. The point is unfortunately the reality is that some ignorant people who are racist will misinterpret videos and recordings as a validation in their narrow thinking because they will see this as cocky and may react with violence. I do not know for certain that they will act in violence I am just afraid that situations like this can increase the tension. It should not but what should be and the reality of what is two different things. When I hear this recording I hear a lady who is frustrated with the current economy and expressing her belief that Obama will make it all better. The good old country boys will hear this same recording and hear a black no good low life and think she is using Barak to be cocky and get out of paying her debt. Having fear of violence in my nation is not the same as wanting everyone to close their ears and ignore anything that might cause violence. It is a fear of the ignorant thinking something utterly stupid and those biased opinions boiling into violence. That was my point, I thought it was rather simple. I am sorry if I wasn't clear in my original post.

Don't you think that if the was representative of the average Obama supporter, considering he won the election, would you have to wonder if it was legit? Most of the country is apparently an Obama supporter so....please explain why you would not know if this is how they all think or not.

A person is innocent until proven guilty in my eyes, so I choose to wait until the all the facts have been weighed in before making a final decision. My gut instincts tell me it's quite real though..
