Does the Russian military outnumber us in soldiers or equipment?

As in, do they have enough aircraft that they could just form a WWII style raid and some will get past our defenses?

Something I've always wondered, as I fear Russia and China together might be able to do that.

1)Nope, Russian doesn't have numerical superiority over US.

2) Specify, about what defenses u're talking here - the continental US itself or the seat's of war? (no, Russian will NOT invade USA in "world in conflict/Red Dawn" etc. style, lol)

3) I may be mistaken, but the war, if it'll ever happen, will be going in different way then u're thinking.

What do you know about Russian tactical Thermobaric weapons?

We heard a lot about the RPO-A and the thermobaric round for for the RPG-7, but have there been any developments since then?

Also, what's the rationale for the Russians use of thermobaric rounds for rocket artillery - does it really get better coverage than airburst shrapnel?

From the pace of responses i suggest you guys give the self styled guru some time to work on his response before you keep asking all these silly open ended questions; not like he doesn't deserve what his getting but why feed the stupidity of such a thread by overwhelming him?
