New DVD Player With Built In "Censor"

im a parent and wouldnt like this functionality unless there was a way to turn it off and on. as far as me being concerned about my son watching bad dvds, he cant because he doesnt have access to them and if he did he wouldnt because he knows that if i caught him he would be facing some serious repurcussions and thirdly he doesnt want to because thats how ive brought him up.

also interesting to note that there is a somewhat related feature already in the playstations that can play movies. there is a code that can prevent it from playing any other than a g movie on it.

Well this is just another form of the censorship that is stangling america everyday. I am a big advocate of completely removing goverment censorship from the home and leting the parents be parents and explain to their kids why they can't watch something or do something. -Muzz
