2012 is just another tool

Hi, this is my first post, but I have been a passive member for some time now.
I read allot about fringe topics every day and try to connect the dots, one thing that has had my noodle baking for a while is the whole 2012 deal.

First off is all the people claiming that some mystical event will happen, in which we will rise or evolve to a new state. i find this hard to believe, given that as a whole, we are in our lowest point of evolution in social/spiritual aspects. Its all to convenient that as deep in the pit as we are, something magical is going to come and rescue our buts.

On the other hand there's the doomsday scenario, Planet X will swing by, or we will be fry'ed by the galactic core or the sun. This scenario doomsday scenario of 2012 is the most played out, by both the underground community and mainstream media. I suppose a lot of you have noticed the continuing increase of apocalyptic scenarios being pushed by the media, let alone a movie about 2012.

After extensively reading about the subject, I personally think its just a big staging for some sort of Blue Beam. It fits perfectly with all the fear based ruling of society. On the other hand it could also be a dissinfo campaign targetting all the real free thinkers, so when 2012 comes, and nothing happnes, we will al be seen as wackos.


Id like your opinions.

Personally I think that nothing out of the ordinary will happen in 2012. It just seems to be a great way for people to make money off other peoples fears or hopes - depending on the scenario.

We've seen this apocalypse fear mongering played out time after time and we've seen the promise of enlightenment played out too (remember the GFL) and guess what... we're all still here and nothing has changed. None of it has ever transpired.

Once 2012 passes, it's just a matter of time until the same people name a new doomsday event/date/scenario. Guaranteed!

Hi, first post here.. there are a lot of theories, asumptions, and questions regarding the winter solstice of 2012, December 21st. There are underlying facts that are largely unknown.. What did the Mayans mean by ending their calendar on that day, or was it simply that they ran out of room on their clay tablet.. grins-
NASA and our wonderful electoral leaders are scheduled to complete their AI super computer.. hmm..
yes the sun will shift poles, yes we are going to be aligned just happenstance with the sun and the other planets,something also predicted by the mayans.. hm again- its something that only happens once every 26000 years (scientifically speaking) with other "happenings" at similar intervals throughout known history, proven with physical earth science evidence. The earth has flipped before, the earth has been struck My comets and meteors before, the weather has changed dramatically before, there have been ice ages and Warm ages, its all happened before and some form of life made it through.. Humans being.. have the capacity to "make their own environments" at least indoors, and some type of outfit to withstand inclimate weather.. some people will die. period.. maybe all of us, some day.. it may be December 12 2012, it may be 3 weeks before that or 1,000,000,000 years away.. whenever it is going to be.. it is going to be. live as best you can, don't give up your day job expecting the worse, be aware of your surroundings and the way that you live and treat others, respect those around you and learn kindness. Be tolerant of others who are different, and embrace the moments that you know you have. this moment.
