The Fear Factor

Since the end of the second world war, and what some see as the advent of the NWO there has been a curious shift in perceptions, brought about no doubt by the MSM.
It all started in the mid to late 40's with the cold war, nuclear destruction and the spread of communism.

It's quite interesting to see some of the old propaganda films detailing the menace of communism, and the fear they inspired throughout the populace.

Communism and it's supposed threat were to be a recurring theme for the next 3 1/2 decades as wars and conflicts were fought to combat this threat.

In the meantime, the MSM kept the populace of the "free" world on a drip feed diet of horror stories and propaganda, from Korea through Vietnam, via kennedy and kruschev - the red menace had to be fought at every turn.

This period saw the creation of the most effective control mechanism for populations - FEAR.

A frightened populace is one that is most easily controlled.

It is the populace that will readily accept the military industrial complex as being vital for their security.

Of course the cold war ended, and TPTB needed a new threat, a new way of keeping people afraid, so we got the AIDS epidemic propaganda.

AIDS was going to destroy mankind, everyone jumped on the bandwagon, from politicians to priests (some might say they are the same animal) it was the biggest disaster that mankind had ever faced!

Have a look at some of the MSM reports from the 80's and some of the government infomercials.

Of course the epidemic turned out to be nothing of the sort - at least in the western world.
This is not to belittle the plight of Africa regarding AIDS there - but as we know, TPTB care nothing for that continent, so it rarely makes the news.

As people became aware that the whole of mankind wasn't going to be wiped out by this, TPTB looked around for something else to take our minds off what was happening all around us, and they come across a self serving weasel by the name of gore.

Perfect!
Another "end of the world" scenario, and one which TPTB could drag out or speed up as they chose - this one wouldn't melt into the background, they could milk it for all it's worth and get even richer in the process!

All it takes is the right people running the right stories, and hey presto! The world is once again gripped by fear and the spotlight is off TPTB, leaving them to manipulate and control as they have done for over a century.

We are living in a culture of fear.

At every turn, on every news programme there is something that is going to kill us or end the world.

Meanwhile, people fail to see that this is all a cover up - take the drugs, eat your GM food, have some of those lovely E mumbers and wash it down with hydrogenated fat, then take some more lovely pills to make you better when you get ill from it.

Watch the news, speed kills, people kill, animals kill, guns kill, cars kill, sex kills, breathing out CO2 kills - everything kills.

People are terrified.

TPTB have now gt us right where they want us.

A "campaign of fear"
I think it is just designed to keep people occupied/preoccupied and thinking about ideals and goals in a solely materialistic sense.
It is very sad that so few realize this.

I like what Marilyn Manson said in bowling for columbine...

" Because that's not the way the media wants to take it and spin it, and turn it into fear, because then you're watching television, you're watching the news, you're being pumped full of fear, there's floods, there's AIDS, there's murder, cut to commercial, buy the Acura, buy the Colgate, if you have bad breath, they're not going to talk to you, if you have pimples, the girl's not going to f*** you, and it's just this campaign of fear and consumption, and that's what I think it's all based on, the whole idea of "keep everyone afraid and they'll consume".

yep... but at least "we" on here are already searching... already not accepting MSM views and values... and that HAS to be a good thing
