2012=Dont worry folks

2012.The end of the world.For some on you aliens will take over.For others meterors and natural disasters will desimate us all.Im here to tell you dont worry!
For all of time we have been scanning the bibles,scanning the gossip,just searching for something to say,oh crap my lifes going to end.Well to be honest,you wouldnt even be saying that if that were the case.The world was also supposed to end in 1985,but if it did you wouldnt be reading this thread now would you?
The fact is most of this is biblical (Except for the X-file freaks,I myself am a fan but not to that level :lol
For example,the book of Revalations.That whole book is basicly about the second comming of Christ and armegeddon as we know it.The saddest part is,some day some guy thought of one way of interpritation of this book,and preidicted that the world would end in 2012.It was told like gossip,and now basicly everyone in the world knows its going down the tubes in 2012.Now for the saddest part.The interpritation is false.For example,I read the book of Malachi,and I found about six interpritations that could mean the world could end tommorow to the world could end in around 4 trillion years in the futer.All Im saying is dont worry.If you cant concentrait on that,(For all believers in god,I am sorry I am saying this)but there actully is no documented proof that the bible or god himself is real.For the record I do believe.But think...You write something today,bury it in your back yard, and 6 thousand years later someone takes it as a record of a god.So dont worry.The world wont end untill we screw it up or accidentally bring the actual start to the cold war(Accidentally luanch a missle that is...).If the world ends,what does it matter?When you die what possesions do you keep?What is a car when you have no body to drive?Just dont worry,if the world ends woohpdii doo.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand this matters why?

Who cares. Planetary alignment. Possible fake planet appearing. Possible alien invasion(hopefully). And most definetly me barbequeing naked

So far, the only actual event I see for the year 2012, is that there is the possibility of some maxed out solar flares during that year. Severe enough to mess up communications and even the power grid. Some say it may be the most violent solar flares seen in a long time. Wait and see.

Count me in, i'm not worried about whatever will happen in 2012, what will be, will be after all.

I think the point of people talking about it so much is trying to wrap they're heads around the whole idea of something of very large magnitude happening.

I am a firm believer in 2012 i might add. But I have a different view, IMO it will only be an awakening of conciousness within the general population that will lead us in the right direction.

I don't really understand all of the negativity surrounding the subject, really i'll be happy if that happens.

And if the world does end, well we've seen the end of our time, and the survivors will carry on the human race. In any case it would most likely to the planet some real good if there wasn't an over-populated species doing as much damage to it and each other.

Divine or not (i'm hoping not) everything happens for a reason.

You should reanalyze your facts about the whole matter. The 2012 date was a Mayan prophecy, not a biblical one. But I agree, there's no need to get worked up about it. If the world is going to end, there's not much you can do to prepare. Relax and enjoy the ride is all I can say.
