I believe Freemasonry is dying, so America is dying.

If it took the Freemasons to get away and form this great nation - then it's probably going to take the Freemasons to get us out of the present day nightmare this country is in right now.

We as a country have forgotten the original roots and ideals of our great fathers and leaders 2-300 years ago. What happened? Time, money, greed, corruption....and not enough younger generations continuing the legacy.

I will agree with you on the basis of the United States., but as in the issue of Freemasonry i must disagree.

Freemasonry has been growing and changing ever since i joined. i just read an article in the "California Freemason" magazine that i am subscribed to, and it said that last year we have over 4,000 degree's conferred. It also said that the average age of lodges is dropping. For instance in my lodge officers in the line are 18, 20, 22, 43, 38, 45, 49 etc... i was the youngest member of the lodge when i joined back in 2006, but i am not anymore we are having a surge of young members coming into lodge now all across California ( i don't know about other states).

Freemasonry is growing and changing in so many ways. It seems like other young men (such as myself) are joining for more spiritual/esoteric goals or reasons.the other guys under the age of 25 in my lodge all joined for a more higher spiritual reason than most of the other members in lodge. we are looking for something more enlightening in masonry than just charity work (which we still enjoy doing). But it's not just our lodge its other lodges as well.

The lodges are growing in both numbers and dropping in age's of brethren. The face of Masonry is changing and we are moving into a new era of masonry i believe. a More older version of what the craft once was. you can say Masonry is going back to its roots.

Of course, that is just my opinion, but the facts of membership growing and the age drop is fact.

That is great to hear it is not in fact slowing in numbers. I sincerely believe the youth of our age that is interested gives me hope knowing others are out there with that mindset.

As you seem to be a student of history Augustus(from your avatar), my suggestion would be for you to peruse the history of threads dealing with the jesters, masons, pedophiles, high level - low level etc... There are enough examples to satisfy even those with a shadow of doubt... they will then see the slight of keyboard going on here...

Then by the application of your own reasoning I direct you to the rebuttals in those threads which refute the 'evidence' to which you cling.

As I've stated earlier, there is so much disinfo within the posts that you masons respond with I, as well as many others, have found it difficult to discern the truth from the fiction. I usually skip by most of the masons responses.... I believe those who see the fluff do anyways. Saves alot of time...

Forgive me, the quoted portion of your sentence was all I needed. The 'dis-info' you mention is generated soley by those who desire to immpune or besmirch Masons and Masonry by assuming that there is a hidden (or overt) agenda to influence and harm society and then continue to repost such nonesense without doing their own investigative work.

I, as well as many others, have found it difficult to discern the truth from the fiction.

Simple, truth is real, fiction is invented by those who wish to ignore the truth.

Interesting, so it would appear you have a very limited desire to converse or accept viewpoints that differ from your own. This goes far into explaining your standpoint and why you choose to support the statements made by others.
