I'm ashamed to call you fellow Humans. Just as I am ashamed to have to say that Israel is painting such a horrific picture of the "gentle" Jewish people.

Israel deserves every word of international condemnation it gets, and a thousand times worse.

It's absurd that it should be illegal to boycott Israel or any other country. But it is Israel that is specifically addressed in the regs. Why?

if you want to boycott israel, why not refuse to pay taxes (if you're in the US) or maybe boycott israeli lobby groups from giving favors and money in exchange for support in washington

Something occurred to me watching the celebrations of 911. Why is it DAY time in Palestine at the same time the news is reporting this on Sept 11? Something stinks there and it isn't the goat cheese.

Of course the same people who want a boycott of Israel also want a boycott of China for their occupation and killings in Tibet don't you.

Let's boycott China.

Then we'll get to the Sudan and the half million people being sytematically murdered there.

Then the Congo, then ...

ATS members are willing to for freedom anywhere.

We see it from their postings on outrages everywhere.

In any armed conflict, there is a cause and effect, but in a declaration of war, there are limits. You cannot justify this type of indiscriminate killing because 8 people have died due to rockets attacks the year prior. Seen in the video above, you have IDF soldiers deliberately firing on Medical personnel. Which is not only disgusting to me personally as a certified EMT, but it is also a war crime. IDF has claimed 20 lives of medical personnel thus far. Despicable.

8 deaths to indiscrimnate firing from Hamas is 8 too many. Regardless. That does not allow Israel to kill 1,000 Palestinians with the same style of haphazard and even in some cases, on purpose. I believe one of the most highly applicable quotes is,

People are dead, dying, and Israel once again stuped to a new low. After the Holocaust, measures were taken so this wouldn't happen not just to the Jewish people, but to ANYBODY.

And I'm also disgusted with Israel taking the 8 dead from rocket attacks and using them as leverage for political/geopolitical gains. The closest relation is Guilliani and 9/11. Tragedy for sale.

Maybe it's a little naive to think that this would ever happen to be a satisfying solution, but what IF someone like the u.n. or a higher authority would decide isreal has to leave the area and move to a western country due to their lastest warcrimes? I mean, they wouldn't lose their face for accommodating to terrorist because it would be more like a punishment, and it would lead to a better life for everybody. There's plenty of space where they could life and create a new state of israel.

This might sound a little simplistic, and would definatly take further planing, but that's the only good way i can see beside the idea that everybody has to leave the area.

Human life should have more value than any piece of dusty land or false pride.

'm afraid that any boycott of Israeli exports would have little effect on their economy. Much of their income comes from the services sector, financial, Information Technology and security.

I am yet aligned with any major religion. I don't know what the ultimate truth is. Probably none of us are hard-wired to understand the ultimate truth. Like a dog is not hard-wired to understand basic algebra. What I do know is that the jewish people are intelligent, creative, peace-loving people. They are surrounded by a fanatical hateful people who teach their children to hate from birth. Non-muslims must submit or die. Israel is fighting for it's survival. And the muslims would gladly sacrifice all the people they profess to support (palestians) if israel would cease to exist.

How do you know what everyone has or has not protested since 2005? That is a rather bold statement. Are you omniscient?
First of all, I doubt that many members approve of Hamas and their tactics. There is a great difference between Hamas and the unfortunate innocent civilians caught in the battle between Israel and Hamas.
What I believe, and I can only speak for myself, is that Israel has taken military actions without sufficient regard to the casualties of civilians in Gaza. I also believe that the incident of the 110 civilians in the building IS an act that qualifies as a legitimate war crime, should it be proven to be factual.
To take "sides" in this conflict is rather useless, since both "sides" have been fighting over the same land for over 3,500 years. I doubt that this current activity will change anything.
To sit still, and NOT condemn the innocent civilians on both sides that have been killed would be criminal.
