I would like the help of my fellow ATS members with this question.
Why do so many people and western countries around the world hate the Muslim religion and the Muslim countries?

When I look at the war on terror that aims only at Muslim terror groups, and I look at the big wars in the past 10 years that were mostly directed against Muslim countries and people.

And when I see the people of European countries (France, England etc) who hate the fact they have so many foreign Muslim residents coming into their countries. And I see that the Muslim terror groups attack many countries that have a lot of tolerance towards them, like Spain, India, England etc.

I wonder if it’s because of the western countries or the Muslim religion and their leaders?

Also please answer why do you think most Muslim countries in the Middle East have the lowest freedom of speech and civil rights laws in the entire world. And why they are all considered third world countries controlled by extreme religious governments?

They're hated mostly because they understand that our way of life is stupid and redundant. That our so called "democracy" doesn't work. They're a thorn in the eyes of first world countries because they don't have the same skin color, and they don't pray to the same god. (although that's debatable) Furthermore, you heard George "if your not with us, your against us" and they're not in agreement with Western Idiology. That's why the media and our leaders single them out for discrimination and wars.

Most of the western world has separation of church and state. And all I hear is Muslims wanting to die for their god and attacking innocent civilians (India attack for instance).

Are you kidding? The seperation of church and state has NEVER occured in NA. If it had, then gays would be aloud to marry, abortion would be legal all over and without argument. People in Western countries same if not a high level up of religious ignorance. They just admit they are, we don't.

You answered your own question. The parts I have bolded are what a lot of people hate. It's not Muslims in general, it's not Muslim countries in general, it's not the Muslim religion in general. It's the extremists that think blowing up non-Muslims is a good idea that will get them into their version of heaven. It's the extremists that think being a suicide bomber is the greatest thing ever. That is what so many people hate.

Not too sure actually. I think it's because of their religious beliefs that they have less freedom of speech and civil rights. They are considered third world countries, generally speaking it's because they are under-developed and are politically unstable.

Theocracy dude, once upon a time the western world endured the yolk of insane religious beliefs and supernatural laws, Islam is just a little behind. Thank god Christianity is imploding maybe with the end of these deluded religions humanity may be able to focus on getting on a little better.

Hate is a strong word I wonder how many intelligent people could really hate a person they never met ?

I think OP might be right. If America hates them, which they seem to... for whatever reason, be it 9/11 or the previous wars in the region, then it is possible that the other countries follow in America's footsteps. Could hating Muslims be "in style?" Does it travel around the world like fashions do?
It may be a case of monkey see, monkey do with the other countries.

Most people in the west don't hate muslims. What we hate are muslim fundamentalist who believe that anyone who isn't a muslim has to convert or die. The majority of the people in the west are happy to let you practice any religion you want to proactice, as long as you stay within in the law and don't harm anyone. Muslim radicals don't see it that way.

That may be the smartest assertion i've seen this year. Your idea makes alot of sense, the US is suppose to be the world's watchdog, and they have the most political and military influence of all countries. Remember what George said, " if your not with us, your against us."

No I actually think its because every western country was targeting by Muslim fanatics like the US. Most recent ones were India, Spain and England. Even Muslim countries when you look at what’s going on in Afghanistan, Iraq and Dubai.

That's a good idea, too. I wasn't sure what you meant by it being "because of the Western countries and their leaders" so that's how I interpreted it. Thanks for specifying, though.

parts of Albert Pike's letter from 1871 might provide an insight.

If it is indeed not a forgery, then it would explain a whole lot. See this excerpt for instance:

The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time.

Pike's letter
