Way back on March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here's what he said: The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.

The late Faisal Husseini, Arafat's Jerusalem representative, a man who was cultured, sophisticated and considered the most moderate of all the Palestinians, shortly before his death on May 31, 2001, expressed his true feelings in an interview with the popular Egyptian newspaper el Arav. Husseini said: "We must distinguish the strategies and long-term goals from the political-phased goals which we are compelled to accept due to international pressures." But the "ultimate goal is the liberation of all of historical Palestine." Explicitly he said: "Oslo has to be viewed as a Trojan Horse."

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. To fully understand the current situation in Gaza we must look at the Palestinian people as an extension of the Arab nations bordering Israel. I am coming from a pragmatic and political viewpoint, void of any so-called bunk conspiracy theories (Zionism/World Jewry).

Yep. Palestine does not exist as a country and never did. Saying "Palestinian" is the same as saying "Mediterranean." It refers to a region. Palestinian people are those with a cultural history in that region. Palestinian = A specific section of the Arab people.

There is no such thing as a Jewish race, it is a religion.

Israeli Bestseller Breaks National Taboo:
Idea of a Jewish People Invented, Says Historian
by Jonathan Cook

No one is more surprised than Shlomo Sand that his latest academic work has spent 19 weeks on Israel's bestseller list -- and that success has come to the history professor despite his book challenging Israel's biggest taboo. Dr. Sand argues that the idea of a Jewish nation -- whose need for a safe haven was originally used to justify the founding of the state of Israel -- is a myth invented little more than a century ago. An expert on European history at Tel Aviv University, Dr. Sand drew on extensive historical and archaeological research to support not only this claim but several more -- all equally controversial. In addition, he argues that the Jews were never exiled from the Holy Land, that most of today's Jews have no historical connection to the land called Israel, and that the only political solution to the country's conflict with the Palestinians is to abolish the Jewish state. The success of When and How Was the Jewish People Invented? looks likely to be repeated around the world. A French edition, launched last month, is selling so fast that it has already had three print runs.

Zionist belief is based on a myth. The occupiers of Palestine are mainly Eastern European Ashkenazis with little connection to the Western European Jewish victims of the Holocaust.

Survivors of the Holocaust get their compensation ripped off by the Eastern European Israelis.

A new pathetic low. I'm going to have to report this. If you like you can start your own thread with that subject in mind.

The "thought police" at work again, I can if I want believe in anything and at the moment I believe the real Holocaust is happening in Gaza and the victims are a race we refer to as Palestinian.

What are you talking about? First there is already another thread questioning the existence of the Holocaust AND another thread questioning the link between modern-day Jews and historical Jews.

God dammit I swear you people are like locusts that flock toward shiny bright lights.

What do you mean "real Holocaust."
You mean "another Holocaust."

Also, mason was off topic. That's all. He can go make a post about there not being a Jewish race, which I support, and I would go support his argument. But this is about where the term "Palestinian" and saying that you refer to the victims as "Palestinian" does not answer the question.

Haaaahahaha. Yes. But keep your head. You have a good point, just let them prove themselves as to whether or not they can actually contribute to the thread at hand.

I will, however, go find you a good source.
Cheers.

You have to report this??? He was stating a valid point, that if there is no Palestine (a region of Arabs) then there is no real Isreal do to the fact the word Jew represents a religion not a region of people.

Oh and by the way Palestinians tried to become a State, but the funny and very ironic thing was Isreal said no and it never happened. Face it people were being lead by monsters. They (refering to the people who don't leave there borders to kill others) are just defending themselves. Sick world we live in.

Truth does not change. Truth is truth. If something was true 50 years ago, 40 years ago, 30 years ago, it is still true today.

And the truth is that only 30 years ago, there was very little confusion on this issue of Palestine.

You might remember the late Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir making the bold political statement: "There is no such thing as a Palestinian people."

On the contrary, I was on topic. If you suppose that no one but the Jewish race ever lived in Palestine then the obvious way that disproves that position is by providing evidence that Judaism is not a race or a nation of people but a religion.

Did you know that there was never any country called Palestine? Did you know that there is no such thing as a Palestinian people?

The ideas that the West Bank and Gaza are occupied Palestinian land, and that the Palestinian people are fighting for their land, have been accepted by most of the governments of the world and by most of the media in the world. But if you read on, you will see that these two claims are the biggest lies ever deliberately perpetrated on humanity.

Check out any map of the Middle East and see for yourself. You will find Palestine listed as a region as it always has been, but definitely not a country. We can locate the Mojave Desert on the map, but we still do not recognize it as our 51st state, let alone a country. Similarly, the region of Siberia is a region not a state. Or the Sahara is a region not a state, etc. Neither is Palestine a state. It never was a country, just a region.

Where in the Original Post does it say anything about Jews?
Oh. Right.
I never said no one but a Jewish race ever lived in that area.
Arabs did.

I need some tea.

Well, that's all relative, isn't it? Is there a Swiss people? How about a Kurd people?

True, Palestinians are Arabians living in the region known as Palestina. I don't know how that makes them less of a "people". Just because they share a race and a language with their neighbours?

Do you know what you posted? It is an article about the erasure of the Palestinian people more commonly described as ethnic cleansing.

It appears to me that you zionists will throw anything into a debate including the kitchen sink!
