U.S. Seeks Ship To Move Arms To Israel

The U.S. is seeking to hire a merchant ship to deliver hundreds of tonnes of arms to Israel from Greece later this month.

The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command (MSC) said the ship was to carry 325 standard 20-foot containers of what is listed as "ammunition" on two separate journeys from the Greek port of Astakos to the Israeli port of Ashdod in mid-to-late January.

A "hazardous material" designation on the manifest mentions explosive substances and detonators.

Shipping 3,000-odd tonnes of ammunition in one go is a lot," one broker said. "This (kind of request) is pretty rare and we haven't seen much of it quoted in the market over the years," he added.

Another proxy war put on by the largest arms dealer in the world. Each day increasing the millions who have died as a result of the weapons supplied and transported.

I wonder if this "rare" request is an emerency boost of military hardware in preparation for a major military action.

Explosives are made to explode, bullets made to shoot.

You dont buy a pair of shoes to countinue to walk around barefoot....

I agree with the poster on this.
You dont ship anamount of munitions like that unless you plan on using them, and as a first shipment, that tells me that many more shipments will be comming in the future.That is a lot of firepower, which makes me believe that not only are we sending it over there for them to use, but to have stockpiles of it there for when our troops come in off of the boats.
Its a lot easier to fight a war when you already have the weapons there.

here's the trump card... All it takes is a stroke of the pen to transfer these
arms/ordnance/etc to the Israeli govt as 'aid'

in another thread is proposed that Israel already had material enough to beseige Gaza... or else they would not have begun their campaign...
these supplies are for replenishing their liquidated arms/armament stocks.

Its quite clear if you know what to observe, the little bit of accounting/shipping trickery is only to distract the
already dumbed-down taxpayers

this is not good,hes doing it in the last days of the presidency,and after the elections been lost!

showing their true colours,they always wanted to but feared bad press and loosing the election.

If someone could stop this supply, would it help?
