We may have back engineered some of their stuff.

I think we may have missed our mark.

It's never too late. All we need to do to advance is to stop thinking we need a monetary based system to survive. Once we get out of the grip of profit we won't have so much duplication of products (brand competition) and waste of resources and we can actually get onto advancement technologically and intellectually.

People say the sky is the limit, but in our world the budget is the limit. Imagine what can be achieved when many great minds come together with the motivation and interest of advancement rather than saving up enough money for that dream holiday / car. Imagine what we can do when our constraint comes from how much we can imagine rather than how much we can afford.

I've never really read into much of John Lear, not out of any reason just never actually focused on his works. He sounds like the same sort of gig as David Icke.

I've noticed myself that when I speak to people about these things their eyes begin to roll. I like to think of it as me blowing their minds
but I know in reality I'm just going outside of their realm of interest.

Sometimes I throw in the odd wacky comment to get some feedback back from them - after all aggressive disagreement / ridicule is a much better reaction than indifference and boredom I've found as it often recharges the conversation and prevents you from fading into the background.

well thats just it, we cannot move forward with our consumer mentality honestly.

yeah it's great for advancing technology but we are still too close to our Primate cousins and we are prone to violence.

I think that the three things need to happen before we get full contact

1. Learn to live with eachother
2. Learn to live within our means I'm talking about not using up or destroying the Earth
3. Learn to govern ourselves as far as population growth

Other wise we are a parasite spreading throughout the galaxy using everything up as we go.

Not a good thing.

I think that is finally beginning to happen you know. I myself am only 26 so still have a LOT to learn and I've only really seen one generation beyond my own. What I've seen is that this recent generation are more aware of things. Some of them still have the immaturity that youth brings but they also see things for as they are.

From what I understand, during earlier years people did things without question like go to war, kill unquestionably - now though the key thing is people are asking "WHY?". Look at the decline in military personnel, the reduction in spending, the emphasis on natural foods, the increase in communication between people about these topics (this website for example).

It's a damn good start I suppose.

I can only hope for a day when we put all our efforts into building a space
based economy, building flotillas and sattelite communities etc.

Seems to me we are getting nowhere fast.

seems to me if a NWO is the way to do this then so be it.

I think society and science is coming to a screaming halt as the few strive to take it all from the many. Our finite resources could be better utilised moving forward....
Before its too late.

Rant over.

Cheers

There are many false prophets out there spouting claims.

The only two I research are Lear and Hoagland there rest are in fantasy land.

You should read Dark Mission

Its the norm for many people to roll thier eyes up on that subject as it is a natural reaction of embaressment on things they do not want to hear or understand, also they are afraid to be ridiculed if they show interest.

Well thats a good point I think we have made contact already and the people at the top do have an agenda for a NWO I think we are on borrowed time personally I think we have been told.

Thats why after the USA developed the bomb so did Russia in record time and we may have back engineered some Alien hardware and we pretty much just gave it away in the consumer market.

We may be seeing an inluence pushing us along and we in our consumer driven economies will find out that it will collapse.

we seem to be focused on the next gadget instead of eachother The net is a good example of how this does create a one world mentality I'm sitting in my easy chair in the pacific northwest of the USA and you? We are talking across the globe

My feelings also and it seems that many like him who start out some how go off the rails, I wonder sometimes what pressure they are under and where from?

You know talking about where we are headed I started a thread last night about the US and China and how we could be headed towards a confrontation if we dont learn how to live with eachother check it out guys let me know what you think heres the link

A good example of how we need to evolve before we can make contact

From UFO Digest

Its related to alien communications further down.

It was reportedly retrieved in 1947 from a second crashed spacecraft found near Roswell, New Mexico.

Scientists made many efforts over subsequent decades to understand how the CR works. A detailed timeline of research operations into the CR from the late 1940s to 2002 is described in the information released.

The long-rumored USG efforts to comprehend and reproduce the technology of visitor flying air/spacecraft are also addressed in the new information. A “historical” timeline of such research is alleged to include:

• 1957: First attempt to test Roswell capture craft's propulsion system. Test was conducted in Area 8, Unit 3c.
• 1961: First attempt to fly repaired Roswell craft in Area 29, unit 1b.
• 1962: Radiation tests conducted on Roswell craft by Los Alamos in Area 18, unit 3Z.
• 1964: Explosion caused by experimental propulsion system placed in Roswell craft, Area 7, unit 19S.
• 1968: First successful flight of Roswell craft (with U.S. propulsion system; old nuclear propulsion system) Area 29, unit 1B.
• 1970: Explosion caused by the visitors’ propulsion system Area 25, unit 8B.

The information also details several USG-sponsored projects, contractors and locations dealing with research into aspects of visitor air/spacecraft technology and related matters.

Communication devices that allow U.S. personnel to have contact with the visitors at great distances are also described.

According to the accounts, this communication technology may direct “multiple frequencies in a particular direction. High speed sending system allows the beam to be propelled at an enormous speed.” This process may use chemical lasers in “pushing the communication beam.”

Additional alleged aspects of this technology include several frequencies “put together on a beam and propelled towards a target or receiver. The receiver then boosts the energy and re-sends the signal to another point.” A relay system of sorts may then convey the signal through deep space.

PEOPLE ON “THE PROJECT”

The new information also details government officials, scientists, military officers, elements of the USG and military, private contractors and others involved with the many aspects of this challenging situation over the decades.

In an effort to limit the scope of details of such information here, these will not be specifically listed. However, the list includes persons associated with some of the most prestigious universities in the U.S. Respected scientists, some well known and some not so famous are also noted for their involvement.

Divisions of major companies involved in projects from high-tech military and space equipment to televisions and cars are also reported to have been involved.

Major branches and operations of the U.S. military and various elements of the U.S. intelligence community are also noted.

Project code names for the many separate programs exploring different aspects of the visitor phenomena and technology are also included in the information release.

Star And Flagged

Would ET craft or thier planets use radio waves? If a race is advanced I doubt they would use such a slow communication and with all its variables.

But who knows?

It doesn't really matter - either way... any signal as fast or slower than the speed of light would still be considered slow as a signal in space.

Space is really to vast to have any fast way of communicating.

I’ve done a search and have not found this video or any threads regarding it and its possible scenario.

It's a very interesting fictitious documentary style video regarding just how SETI could be blocked from full disclosure when and if contact is ever made.

It explains the real world science behind the search for extra terrestrial intelligence, also covers topics regarding AIs and global reactions, which is a good topic to cover when we are dealing with this possible future situation.

What I really find plausible is how things that are presently being handled since the events of 9/11 and with all the new Home land security laws that have been passed. This shows how the Government may try to hide that information from us also at the end is small commentary from real world scientist on their thoughts of how things may come about with real first contact.

It's an interesting look at how things may play out.

Please post comments both pro and con.

Read my above post on the Roswell craft

I know about that case very well... but nothing there is stated as being THE communication. The fastest known communication today is fiber-optics - as mentioned in this case - this is communication at speed of light, not quite, because digital signals in fiber-optics are transmitted like "on and off" (bits) and they need to be routed through different stations and are therefore not transmitting at speed of light.

Again, the things that Philip J. Corso has said is not confirmed or anything, but I must say... if he is faking his information he's a very good liar indeed!

Another thing... if you would have anything travelling faster than the speed of light how would you then receive it? that's pretty much impossible!

Good point.

Are you familiar with bucky balls?

If so I have some information regarding that in a new post that will tie many of these questions and more together Bob and I are pulling info from across the web and I'll be posting it all on a new thread hopefully later tonight or tomorrow stay tuned
