I AM AGAINST THE WEAPON FACTORIES, MAYBE THERE WON'T BE ANY WARS.

USA is going to start another war India vs Pakistan soon, they will sell huge quantities of weapon to both countries and this is USA's exit from the economic crisis. (i hope that im wrong)

Example like this one is a reason for existing a weapon factory.

How to close these factories around the world? Any wars than?

Mod Edit: All Caps Title.

There will always be war. If we took all the guns away, people would use swords, spears, catapults. If we took those away, people would fight with rocks. If we took the rocks away, people would fight with their fists. If we took fists away, we wouldn't be human.

If you're serious about shutting down weapons factories, first thing you need to do is get some guns.

Sadley as long as there are rocks and sticks laying around on the ground and people who believe they are right and everyone else is wrong than there will always be potential for war.

As for wars.

Humans are program to commit violence upon others and to kill others. Everyone. It's the animal in all of us. You can't escpase from it no matter how hard you try. As long as there is more than one person on Earth there will always be violence/war.

And chances are that the last person will have multiple personality disorder. (this was a joke.)

The evils of the world are there to show us what good really is. You can not have good without evil.

What then, nullify necks so people could not headbutt? How about removing teeth so people could not bite? Why not cut out the tongue so that people cannot fight with words?

What you are left with is a torso with a head attached that cannot accomplish anything.

But guns and missiles do make it a lot easier to have wars. They also add a new profit element...

Are you saying the blacksmiths of old never profited from war? If you removed guns there would be a hell of a demand for them right now.

I guess in a few years people like our friend Macedonia will be saying, "if only people didn't create lasers then there would be no war."

Want peace? Kill all the people on earth.

Then kill all of the animals that fight for dominance in their pack/herd/gaggle/or whatever.

Oh, and don't forget, kill all the plants that product toxins that inhibit the growth of other plants.

No war -
- never happen.

ETA: Wasn't WWI the "War to End All Wars"?

Oh please. Give me a break; you're smarter than that! You're thinking is exactly why we won't be getting rid of war for a long time: you're always looking for a weapon - and when you don't find one then you "can't accomplish anything."

I'm just being realistic

Edit to add:

All joking aside, people should realize that there is alot less war now than ever in the history of mankind. Compare this time to 50, 60, 70 years ago. Compared to the 1940s and the 1960s we live in a relatively peaceful time. Now the media day after day likes to make it seem like the sky if falling every minute of everyday. Why? Because people love watching it and believing it. It's called the woe is me syndrome. People use the woe is me syndrome to justify scapegoating their own shortfalls on other unrelated events so they have never have to put forward an effort into improving themselves.

As far as the OP goes, he is scapegoating weapons manufacturers instead of their customers to justify their shortfalls. Remember that without customers, these guys wouldn't make a dime.

How Utopian.
The problem with that logic is this:
..for every wepaon we lay down, you or anyone else will never be able to guarantee that the enemy will do the same.

Why not bite the bullet and work at a weapons factory instead?
At least you'll be guaranteed some overtime.
