Calling the aliens: Have you ever tried? Are you afraid to?

Have you ever sat alone in a dark room and wondered... if you had the ability to call the aliens to come down & retrieve you from Earth, would you have the nerve? Do you ever have the feeling that you could really do it if you tried... only you're afraid to even make an attempt because the consequences could be irreversible? Do you make half-hearted efforts just to convince yourself that it's all in your head and you couldn't ever really do such a thing? How hard would you be willing to try... to call them and risk the possibility that you could be taken and never... ever-- returned? Would you invest all of your effort to take such a risk? Search deep inside yourself for an answer to this one. It's a very serious question and you have to be honest about it-- even if you'd rather yuck it up on ATS than tell the truth.

In all honesty I have tried!
Maybe some lines were crossed.
Life somewhere off this rock must be more rewarding than it is here.

--first of all, I am incapable of sitting alone in a dark room outside of a hostage situation. Well, or life or death. I do do fine in a city at night-re: outside. But a dark room is unpleasant, so much as to turning a light on to sleep.

--I make no efforts; I just look up. I am always 'thinking' up too.

No. The risk can not be paired with a distinguishable outcome or definable variable.

Yes, if I did have some means to call aliens. I've tried radio, no success. Signalling by electric torch might work if I ever see a ufo to signal. I haven't been able to manage esoteric solutions like telepathy.

I have no fear. The net outcome of staying on earth is life isn't very enjoyable and eventually you die. There is nothing even malevolent aliens could do to me which would be any worse.

Never ever returning to this planet earth is not a risk. I would consider it my reward, my most desired outcome, if I could stay forever with benevolent physically human-like aliens.

I have very limited resources to invest, besides my time. But I would give all of what little I have.

Hmm very interesting. I was reading the thread on tuning into ET's today the one about meditating and feeling out for true contact so I had a go at it because it's not the first time I've read or pondered about such things so it's always in the back of my mind even up to the point of alot of times when I ask my self a question, one that I know nothing of, usually about something totally new to me, a voice tells me a very true proper answer and I always think it's outside help of some sort or maybe just my inner practical self instantly putting the thing at hand together and getting the answer..I duno but tonight I was gazing at the stars like I enjoy to do often and started thinking of contact and just emitting the frequency or feeling of that if that makes sense, it just felt right and sure enough I got a feeling to look at a certain spot of the sky and saw a faint star light object going across the sky at a fair speed obviously in space and instantly after the first appeared a thought in my head said no way, coincidence , another sign might change my mind, then another object appeared in the distance going in a downward opposite angle to the other and as they were both heading in opposite directions, their paths eventaully aligned perfectly and went in total horizontal opposites. I carried on 'emitting' this feeling and weird colour images kept zooming into my mental eye. I had to use my peripheral vision to track them as I guess they were heading further out of my vision and they would be invisible if I tried to follow it by looking directly at it. Again within another minute another appeared in another peice of sky I decided to look at, I then got into a more intense trance when I shut my eyes to the point I sensed a presence in front of me suddenly but it gave me a fright and I broke my trance. So to answer your question I got a bit spooked for the fact I was emitting not minding to leave this place but when faced with the possible possibility that it could be happening I wimpered out and decided to stop, so I guess I got afriad for a second, but then soon realised what I was doing and instantly emitted love and peace and no fear whatsoever then I smiled and decided to try it another time.
Also a few years back me and a very close friend would climb up this water resivior and lie there smoking and thinking of weird things, looking at the stars in amazement, I brang up et contact etc and how weird it would be if they could sense our thoughts or feelings somehow and we started experimenting and trying to feel for them , asking random questions etc then suddenly 3 starlike objects appeared in a triangle formation, I don't know if it was one object or 3 different ones but it was traveling east across the sky in a triangle-on-its-side formation with the point facing the opposite direction it was going. the 2 stars at the front faded while the point stayed in vision for another 2 seconds before fading. Another time when my friends and I were out in the bush we saw a bright object appear in the twilight sky going north really fast we were all staring at it amazed when we swore we all saw the same thing, a little as faint dot shooting at the object in a split second but missing then the object sped and faded. my friends and I were 16-18 at the time 19 this year and we live in Taupo, New Zealand it's a great place. Also when I was little I remember some comotion in the papers and news about some big square stone blocks found in the forest, obvious remains of a ancient structure, half burried and very old looking, mossed up etc I have a photo of it and you can see how big it is compared to some 8 year old children(my father took us kids out to the location of it to see it was great). It was fast to disappear from the news and nothing was heard from it again (to my knowledge). (continued)

ET contact would be the most amazing yet frightening thing i could imagine. It's unknown if anybody has actually made contact (although i believe they have), so no-one would know what to expect, what they could do, if they'd return etc.
but then again it would be amazing to do what no-one else has done. imagine what you could do if you knew what they knew.

I walk in my backyard everynight.


I stare up into the stars, when they are visible.

I contemplate why I am even still here.

I would rather not be on this planet, I would rather be exploring another planet, for this planet is already defecated on itself time over again ten fold. And it will continue to do so until it destroys itself.

I don't think there is a incling of thought within me that is afraid of going with them, maybe some anxiety to it....

But I do invite the fact that I am not the only intellegent species in the universe, and I do believe that there is other intellegent species that aren't much different from us in complexion, and maybe even speech. It is not far'fetched to say that they are inable to communicate with vocal chords, but they are more prone to telekinesis.

I believe after a weeks time with an "alien", I would be ready to leave, because I believe an alien could teach you a library in 1 week.

How serendipitous you should ask this. For some reason, I've had a memory lingering particularly strong with me for the last few days.

I did call the aliens once, when I was younger, and somewhat unintentionally. At that point, I had no real concept of aliens outside of Star Trek, but it didn't matter. I was convinced they were out there.

I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep when an incredible feeling of.....I don't know how to describe it. Peace mixed with happiness, mixed with sadness mixed with something indescribable. I was READY. Ready to be go with the aliens wherever they would take me. I whispered the words and said them in my head "I'm ready".

As soon as the words were out of my mouth, I heard someone out in the hall outside my door. I lived alone at the time, and no one had broken in (otherwise the alarm would have gone off). For the briefest moment I panicked, and lost the feeling I described above. I immediately became very sad - like I had accidentally scared them off by my hesitation.

A few seconds later, I began "seeing stars". Little tiny specs of light started racing up my arms and around my head. They went for some time...and then they were gone. I didn't sleep much at all that night.
