Anyone else play this game?

It is pretty much the most awesome rpg/rts hybrid I've ever played.

The graphics and storyline are passable, but the gameplay is unique.

Ever wondered how cool it would be to be able to control one of the knights in a battle from Medieval: Total War? Look no further.

The battles are so much fun and pretty much the coolest part of the game.

If you haven't played it, you can download the trial here.

It is the full game. Only limitation is a level cap until you get a CD key.

Seriously. If you haven't tried this game, don't miss out.

ah, I found it.

Yes a great game. and the siege fights is so fun. starting on the bridge and attack with arrows. Then your soldiers break the wall, and you find yourself screaming: "DRAW SWORD!!!!".... it kind of make you feel like a kid


what kind of mods are you playing?

for the moment I play Lords and Realms mod. Its much more action in this one. I found a great list here: forums.taleworlds.net...




PS: if anyone here is looking for a PC game, this is worth a demotest.

I played an Ancient Greece mod, can't remember what it was called. But it had cool spears and polearms that knocked people of their horses and stuff.

I personally like the original as it is.

Thank you sooooooo much fooffstarr for bringing this game to my attention. I got it and I'm hooked. Just managed to kill 43 sea raiders with my level 19 character. This game ROCKS!

You other people gotta try this game!

I want to add that you can buy this off of Steam. Also Warband is the 64 player Multiplayer Expansion coming out Q3 2009 and it will feature enhanced graphics. Feel free to add me in as a friend if you use XFIRE, Dark Ecks. Make sure you put a SPACE in my name. Maybe well play together when the MP comes out.

For the person who plays native, you should DL the Lord and Realms Seige Pack. It adds extra ladders to the maps. This way you don't have to play Lord and Reams but still get the bonus of multiple pathways. I was going to play Lord and Realms but I didn't want to start over and the seige ladders can be added in at any time. Find it on the Lord and Realms section of Tales World forums. Also I use the Battle sizer at 160. This makes the castle seiges much more fun. The pile up of bodies is just SICK.

It's funny I don't screan "Draw Swords" but after each win when my men are cheering I always pull my horse up to them and scream and put my arm in the air. YAHHHHH YAHHHHH!

One stupid thing I do is when I'm held in formation waiting for the enemy I start the braveheart speech and ride my horse around my men, lol. FOR FREEDOM!
