Graves desecrated in France, mostly Christian

PARIS (Reuters) - Vandals desecrate cemeteries on an average of about every three days in France, with most attacks against Christian graves although media mostly report cases against Jewish and Muslim tombs, a report said Thursday.

Most desecrations are vandalism by teenagers, with only a small minority prompted by the racism, anti-Semitism or satanic cult practices normally highlighted in the media, the report by parliamentarians of the governing UMP party said.

Does anyone else find it funny that in a supposedly highly "anti-Islamic" and "anti-Semitic" climate Islamic and Jewish grave desecrations still find more media coverage than Christian grave desecrations, despite the fact that Christian grave desecrations form a higher proportion of grave desecrations?

This reminds me of a similiar case where - because European Muslims had a very..."dim" view of European Jews - it was the fault of "a history of anti-Semitism in Christian Europe.

No double standard here folks!
