1) How can rebelling against god be sinful?

Sin came into being when Adam and Eve partook of the apple right? And to give them the apple then Satan had to rebel against god before that. So therefore how can rebellion against god be a sin?

2) Shouldn't god and Christianity be "the devil"?

It says in the Bible that the devil has control over the world, well since the majority of the world is Christian (or some form of it) then doesn't that make god the devil and the devil god?

because that is what sin is, its going against doing what you were designed to do. we were not designed with rebellion in mind.

no, it means that satan is permitted to rule.

think about this for a moment. satan, in his conversation with eve, was essentially calling god a liar. eve chose to believe that, but after she ate from the fruit, she realized that she was deceived. thats why she said ¨the serpent deceived me¨

but this actually raises an interesting question. can man live independently of god?

the most logical choice is to permit time to answer that question for ourselves

No, because even mainstream Christianity's teachings go against the Bible. What the world thinks of as "Christianity" is a deception, and is not what was taught by Christ and the Apostles. What the devil has done is twist mainstream perception of God and his ways as taught in the Bible , so that people are not worshiping in truth. Satan doesn't care if people THINK they are following God, as long as they are not doing it the way God says to, because then, they are actually following Satan, whether they know it or not.

Look at what the Bible teaches compared to what mainstream Christianity teaches....

God says observe the 7th day Sabbath (Saturday), mainstream Christianity says go to church on Sunday.

God says observe His Holy days, and not to mix them with or observe pagan days. Mainstream Christianity teaches the Holy days are done away with (?) and that we are to instead observe the "Christianized" pagan days of Christmas (winter solstice, trees, mistle toe etc) and Easter (fertily festival, eggs, bunnies etc).

God says that when you die you go to the grave, return to dust, and await the resurrection. Mainstream Christianity teaches that when you die you go to Heaven or some fiery kingdom of the Devil to be poked with pitch forks.

The Bible says God's church is called the Church of God, and that we are to pray to God in the name of Jesus. Mainstream Christianity calls it whatever they want, and that we are to pray to Jesus, some even saying that we are to pray via Mary (who in truth is dead and in the grave) or to what they deem "Saints".

The Bible says that the Father is one, and there is none like him, and that the Spirit of God is his power, and that Jesus was his son. Mainstream Christianity teaches that all three are one triune being, most not realizing that this sort of thinking comes from ancient Babylon.

I could go on forever. The whole world is deceived unless called into truth by direct intervention from God, that is how strong the deception of Satan is.

The bible says that satan is the god of this world... a world of crime, pain, heartbreak, deception, adultry, idolatry, murder, etc. Our God is the God of all things and that the god of this world will soon meet his maker. God created all beings with free will in order to test weather they would follow Him or not. Satan was once an angel of the highest rank.... an archangel or cherubim. Only one of 3 archangels along with michael and gabriel. The problem is Lucifer was full of pride and thought he was better than God and tried to overthrow God's throne. Unsuccessful, Lucifer was cast to earth and renamed satan. The name "satan" means "great deciever" while "lucifer" means "light of morning" or "morning star". Point is, you made bad calls with those questions by having a view of christianity in the form of "Romanized Christianity" which is about 99% of all christianity. The small flock of christianity consists of the modern "Church of God" or Judeo-Christians who know the message of the bible. We are better known as "apostolic christians" but beware, most pentacostal groups call themselves a church of God or apostolic congregation. Be sure the COG or apostolic church is a sabbath keeping church, just for good measure.
