NATO cash sponsoring Taliban

The British newspaper the Times has accused the ISAF, or NATOs mission to Afghanistan, of indirectly helping the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The West is indirectly funding the insurgency in Afghanistan thanks to a system of payoffs to Taleban commanders who charge protection money to allow convoys of military supplies to reach Nato bases in the south of the country.

Contracts to supply British bases and those of other Western forces with fuel, supplies and equipment are held by multinational companies.

The situation in Afghanistan is going to be a big story in 2009. However, is there more going on then is being reported? What is really happening in the country. There is always a simple way to find answers, follow the money!

It now appears that payoffs amounting to millions of pounds, including money from British taxpayers, are given to the Taleban. I have posted a video report about this and other information at the Worldview blog.

Of course man
Al-Qaida is the marketing arm for the CIA

it's all a facade.

the money going towards military budget and exponential growth of presidential powers could not mean anything else.

Ha, and only the other week I was told that my buying of a few bits and pieces in my local poundland shop helps fund the Taliban.

When all along out own forces are helping them out... Allegedly !!!!
