I have to agree with our anonymous poster in that Bible prophecy says that Russia will attack. I'm honestly surprised though that the statement of
Bible prophecy went over so well. Usually if the word Bible is dropped in a post people here on ATS have a tendency to discredit the rest of the
post.
Anyway, I was watching the news the other night and saw that Iran was vowing to break the blockade Israel has on Gaza, and some time later that
somewhere along the lines of 70000 people had volunteered to go fight them. Now unlike the US if Iran does send troops over to get involved in the
conflict Israel is likely to strike back. Near the top of their air strike or commando strike list is the Russian-built nuclear reactor Iran has, and
which Russia has declared to protect. That happens and well you have Russia attacking Israel much like I described before.
I was also thinking about another way that Russia could be brought into the fray along with the other Arabic nations. Now just stick with me, this is
just a "what if". Gaza is a small piece of land now with a lot of Israeli forces in it. How would you fight a concentrated group of forces if you
are vastly outnumbered? If a page were to be taken out of the Cold War NATO manual a nuclear weapon would be used. Shocking I know, but if the
plutonium used in the weapon were of the same type as the material given to Israel in the 60's or matched materials used in American nukes (this is
possible since every year pounds of this material goes "missing" in the US) the blame would be placed on Israel/US despite the delivery system.
Almost immidiately after the detonation, the particles would be examined and the finger pointed towards Israel/US. The UN would attack the US while
the Arabic Nations launch an assault on Israel along with Russian forces from the North and from the Med sea (they were holding exercises with Greece
here a couple weeks ago).
Now while this seems far fetched prophecy doesn't state the exact why it'll happen, just that it will happen at a time. Also while I'm sure some
would have a hard time believing that a terrorist group could or would do this, just think of how small (not to say a nuclear explosion or the
millions of deaths related would be small) this event is compared to what would happen. Overnight the world would be on the side of the Arabic world
and against Israel and the US. Even the most reliable allies in the past would be unable to side with the US. The US would suffer crippling
sanctions (being the source of the nuclear material), and Israel would be (in theory) annihilated (something many in Europe, Russia, and the Middle
East want to happen).
Just a what if to help stimulate the thinking juices in the thread.
