I saw Garbarek live in Copenhagen a long time ago. It was a very special concert. They played for two hours or so, and the audience was silent the whole time. I mean totally silent, until it was all over. Then they cheered like crazy afterwards. It was great!

When this song was released, some journalist in Norway wrote in his review that it was "a song about jealousy". He obviously didn't hear the whole song and missed the point entirely. Since then, this song became a megahit in Norway, and this journalist probably regrets that he didn't hear it before he wrote his hasty review. The song is about a truck driver, driving the main road (E6) northwards through Norway in order to get home as fast as possible. Google translate has a big problem translating the lyrics because of the language. So I'll do my best below, to help you understand the meaning of this song.
