I just want to state how jealous I am that you are even putting this much effort into proposing to her. You must be a great guy and I'm sure you'll make a great husband.

Heh, I wasn't a great guy until I met her. I was a bit of a scoundrel before this wonderful woman came into my life. I hope I make a good husband, I have been trying every day to be a better man since meeting her.

I gave my wife her ring on Christmas too (along with other gifts).
We both enjoy riddles, so she opened a box, and it had a riddle in it (in poem form that rhymed), that led to a series of other such riddles in kind of a scavenger hunt all over the house....culminating in finding the box with the ring. She still has all of the little riddle scrolls in her wedding scrapbook... (did I mention I'm a total nerd...???) LOL....
