Is this the missing McPherson family's daughter?
Japanese television knows how to keep the ratings. Sometime ago one of the top tv
networks in Japan aired the McPherson family abduction story presenting a bootleg
of the first film or demo or pilot or whatever made by Dean Alioto in the US same
that resulted a fiasco and never got aired. The circumstances in wich the japanese
television got the bootleg were never revealed but it's been suggested it was Alioto
himself who may have sold the film for some money. The japanese audiences were
amused and the network got good rating. This is the tv show aired at that time.

Interestingly the network announced this was a science fiction story for entertainment
purposes so there was no blame and the japanese audience had fun.
Later Alioto made a remake with more luck and have success in 1998 with the UPN
network in the US and the rest is history. According to Alioto's storyline the whole
McPherson family was abducted by aliens and dissapeared leaving behind a home
made video of the incident. The story created stir everywhere ala War of the Worlds,
Blair Witch Project etc. and many people belived the incident was real not a ficitional
movie. Controversy has been around for years and not even Dean Alioto's statements
confirming this was just a science fiction movie with actors could convince many who
still sustain the footage is real as well as the story.
Now the same japanese tv network made a revisit to the infamous case and presented
an update on this story. Allegedly the tv crew found one of the original McPherson
family's member, the daughter whose birthday were celebrating in the original film.
According to the report they located the missing McPherson daughter living in LA
and convinced her to be interviewed. She claims the whole incident was real and
she managed to escape from the aliens and was living in hiding since then.
It's clear this girl is the same one that appear in the original film, I made the
comparison and indeed she is the one celebrating her birthday with that big cake in
the video many years before. I could'nt understand all her statements because of the
japanese translator over her voice however it is evident she was claiming the event
took place and the video is real. Now check the updated story with the alleged
McPherson daughter showing the alleged home video of their family's abduction.

CONCLUSION: I don't have any doubt this is another ficitonal updated story of the
famous McPherson story in Japan where is still in good rating. I concede the tv
crew did a good job locating one of the original cast in this case the little daughter
whose birthday were celebrating in the film, an actress who portraits one of the
main characters in this tale. Many years later now grown up she made a new
performance for the japanese tv must probably for a good amout of money and
saying the whole incident was real, a good chance to revive the case and get again
good ratings by the tv network after all in their own words this is entertainment.
