Aah, there has been some concern about the date December 12, 2012, which marks the end of the Great Cycle -- one of the time cycles that Mayans derived from their time-keeping devices. Each completion of a time cycle was connected with a significant event proportional to the length of the cycle. Some people who are thrilled with catastrophic events prophesied adjusted the Mayan belief regarding the end of the Great Cycle and spammed the Internet with a plethora of catastrophic events due to take place on 12/21/2012.

Since today is December 21, 2008, I thought it would be appropriate to observe the opposite anniversary and to wish good luck to those folks who are into asteroids and other heavenly bodies hitting the earth on Dec. 12, 2012.

Nah trust me i am very familiar wih the whole 2012 scenario its just you had next to no writing atall on your first post and i was wondering what the purpose of the thread was
