Thread is trashed and we appreciate the heads up. It's going to be hard to catch every story which has this hoaxer as the source so please help the staff out and alert them.

We simply won't tolerate a well known hoaxer's bollocks being promoted on ATS.

I beg to differ. Zorak from Space Ghost Coast to Coast is waaay more evil.

But, yes, point taken. Tis comical. "Russian sources close to the Kremlin say 'stop saying you have Russian sources close to the Kremlin! we do not know you nor do we care!'"

The world is not "uniting". There is no formal UN Resolution. There are no joint manuevers. What we see are independent countries attempting to protect their exports. Russia, China, th US all have very small contigencies in the area hoping to put a stop to a bunch of misfit muslims (yes these guys are all muslims) who now have huge testicles thanks to a few countries who were stupid enough to pay ransoms. When will people learn?

If the next ship to be taken was just blown out of the water by an FA-18 I can assure you that piracy would come to a complete stop. The problem is, we continue to have foolish corporations who would rather pay 10 million in ransom, than sink a 20 million dollar ship and the 20 crew members who man it. The result is that it emboldens the pirates who will then hijack another ship the first minute they get a chance and in the end you lose more money.

The solution is really very simple.

Arm the crews aboard your ships.
Make no negotiations with Terrorists (I am refusing to use the romantic term "pirate" any longer)
And strike back with overwhelming military power and the result will be the end of Terrorism on the high seas. There will be the loss of life but freedom isn't free.

Once again it's just another example of Muslim terrorists trying to bully the world. I can imagine the outrage if it was American Warships doing this to world shipping. Hah!

Im gonna come clean and admit I knew of this alien attack on the worlds navy last March. The aliens sent an email to all world navy admirals telling them to "please" have their vessels in the one place to save the aliens from country hopping to find them all. The email came to me by mistake because i have a small plastic boat that I play with in the bath. I sent the boat 1st class mail to the Gulf of Aden on the 17th, I hope it arrives on time, you never can tell with the Christmas postal services.

respects

My self,

I have already put this article 100% to archive of "great imaginations".

But its beautiful over there!

In real,

Situation in Gulf of Aden is interesting and still developing event. I hope some of you can tell me what is US or UK naval force in area today?

At least this article gave us useful information about how much the demand for dry cargo has dropped lately!

I havent heard about writer of that article before, but after I made some background check, I understand her value as source... But still... She have excellent talent with her imagination!

They are at least letting the world know what their doing and I can see them helping the shipping lanes as this is their main means of distribution worldwide. Always make you think twice though when all the super powesr get together on something.......false flag possibility?

Worlds shipping has not come to a halt although it has slowed down, It will now anyway over the christmas period and resume in January. The main problem will be the strenghth of each countries currency. Imports will dexcrease where the currency has strengthened and exports will increase where the currency has slumped. However, the other obsticle which most compampies will now be facing, is credit. Shipping companies are rigously enforcing credit checks and will not give credit if there score is inadequate so they will either have to pay for freight upfront or will have seek alternative methods, propbably at a higher cost than they are used to, incresing there overall costs, which in turn will put up the cost of there goods, making them less competitive and putting them out of business. When alot of companies are in this situation then you will have a mass of companies going insolvent and slowing down economic growth even further.

Because a pistol will be able to deal with hostiles in fast boats who are also armed with RPG's, nice.

All you can say is that it would make a great movie...Maybe Independence day 2....But i'm sure the governments of the world would want every human to have a weapon of some sort trying to kill the Aliens if this was about to take place...As i said would make a great movie

Hmm, well I made a similar thread, that didnt get any attention but thats probably because I stated a concern about so many nations warships being in a relatively small area of the sea.
The potential for "accidents" happening could increase and the pirate would like nothing more than to have attention deflected away from them.
If they were brave enough or stupid enough, they would try do something to instigate one warship to fire on another, causing an international incident and giving them some breathing room.
I dont think the chances of this happening are that great but its something to think about.

I didnt mention anything about aliens though, I may have gotten some replies if i did

No offense, but just think this is ridiculous.

Well, the truth usually is. Not saying the "alien attack" is true, but it makes the most sense.

And come on honestly? Do you really believe that we are building up our navy ships to take on a civilization that would be who knows...thousands and thousands years more advanced than us.

Yes, I do. Makes more sense then massing warships from all over the world, including Iran, (member of the "axis of evil", and well known US enemy) to engage "pirates". One modern US warship could destroy them all. And who really cares about their technology? Check out the history of our own world's wars. Technology V's numbers and see who wins.

They didn't need Iran's help capturing entire countries like Iraq and Afghanistan. But they need everyone's help with a handful of armed bums? And their enemies are willing to work side by side with them to defeat such a weak enemy?

Let's get one thing straight. Yes, pirates are a threat to unarmed ships. But two or three warships would send them packing. They are not more of a threat then the old Iraqi army or the Taliban were, so why the need of "enemy assistance"?

And as for "Sorcha hoax queen", what about "George Bush hoax king"? Who tells the most bull?

Well gee, let's see here. One or two warships + over 100,000 square miles+ of ocean = failure. You CAN NOT stop pirates with just a few warships. You have to know where they are, and you have to be able to detect them in time to stop them. The ships that are being taken are being taken hundreds of miles out to sea, so you're probably talking over a million square miles of ocean. That means it would take most of the US navy top patrol, detect, and respond. But you're right, one or two warships will make them stop.

There is no build-up, but some so-called intelligence sources such as Debkafile reported that there was. Debkafile recently reported the John tennis was in the gulf along with two other carriers. However, the Stennis is in home port this very minute in Bremerton, Washington at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. there is only one carrier strike group in the gulf right now. There ALWAYS is one. No big deal

But what has caught our attention today, to put it mildly, is a combined Russian Interior Ministry-FSB report circulating in the Kremlin today that states that our World’s Navies are about engage in ‘unprecedented’ hostilities with the ‘giant founders’ of the ancient Biblical Garden of Eden to prevent our Planet from being re-colonized by an alien race most popularly known as the Annunaki (or "Nephilim") who ancient Babylonian texts state are the ‘Watchers’ over our Earth.

I'm pretty sure that if the Annunaki are real, the Americans and NATO would be fighting for them not against them.

Watchers to the many undersea communication cables laying upon the seafloors of this region which have now isolated large parts of the Middle East and the sub-continent.

the above is quoted from the what does it mean website, and today 22nd of december 08 the BBC UK reported undersea cables being severed. underground earthquakes were blamed.

make of this what you will.

I heard an interview with a guy who owns a fleet of transport ships - the kind that ships cargo containers around the world. He said he didn't want to arm the crew with guns because that makes the whole situation more dangerous.

Like an armed mutiny? The crew pirating the vessel on its own?

So let me get this straight...

For once the world powers are uniting to deal with a major threat to the global economy (the continued defense of important shipping lanes)... and its a cover up for a war against aliens?

Awesome.

And I have to disagree that it is Snuffie or Grimace behind the plot.
I think it is most likely SKELETOR.

Because no one is more eviler than Skeletor.

I'd just like to go on the record right now as saying"

Soon, He-Man and aaaall Eternia.. weiilll beeeEEE MIIIENNNEEE EEE-HAA-HEEE-HAA-EEEhaahHAHAHA!!!

just sayin.

All I know.... is that all this piracy crap going on out there is really fishy to me.
It's like one big setup to be used as an excuse later on for something bigger.
I mean come ON...
US ships have THAT hard of a time dealing with freaking barbarian slumlord pirates??
And they have DARPA on their side??

you're a fool if you don't have at least a tiny bit of skepticism with this all...
