Anyone seen the latest episode of The Sarah Conor Chronicles?

Looks like the writers decided to use the California drones as an inspiration.
Took the looks and even the name, didn't really try to change/hide anything.

Except they tied it to the Terminator-mythos, instead of UFO mythology. It may be an early example of the Hunter-Killer drones of the series.

Well, some time ago there was this California drones photos on the internet. The same stuff as seen on the show (round, spikey things in the air).

The authors didn't really bother to change much, they just put it in there.

As for the Cali drones, they were said to be fakes if I recall correctly.
