When the imposter finally shows up, it will be with great fanfare and drama, an event to remember.

Remember, if you can pinch yourself, it is not the real one but the fake one, for when the real one shows up, you'll be in your spiritual body.

If I remember correctly, when the AC comes to power he does so as a man of peace, love, unity, and hope. For the first 3 1/2 years he will be able to accomplish what no one has been able to do...bring the world together. That is supposed to be part of what gets the whole world to follow him. At the 3 1/2 year mark, he will receive a wound to the head that causes his death. Then in a counterfit of Christ, on the third day he will rise. That is the point where he proclaims himself to be God as he will be (at that point) Satan in the flesh. I do believe someone rising from the dead after 3 days will cause a lot of people (world wide) to believe him and accept anything and everything he says. The next 3 1/2 years will be hell on earth until the real Christ returns and does away with him.

Yes, I also think obama posses the traits of the future AC. I for one will be keeping an eye on him.

I understand what you are trying to say here and you could very well be correct. But he could possibly be the sort of person who has a lot of empathy - and emulates accents very easily. I forget what the real term for it is. I find that i too subconsciously parrot accents within minutes of hearing someone.

I am in an industry full of Londoner's - two mins in a room with one of them will give me a very strong cockney twang and i get asked what part of the city i grew up in. Same applies when i go out in the australian bush - although i don't look the part, i talk even more native than a local.

... it just could be one of those subconcious things. Also one musn't forget that obama has proven to be excellent in marketing. just look at his campaign for proof. And the fact is that marketing is not always creative and the most tried and true methods are not very innovative at all.

He also uses a lot of NLP - which essentially is a practice of using very subtle verbal, visual and auditory cues to communicate and influence others. Basics of NLP are outlined on this page.

Most successful marketer's use NLP - including politician's but the masses aren't aware of it at all. It's easy to spot once one is aware of it but not otherwise.

As for the guy emulating influential figures in history such as Kennedy and Martin Luther King... what is wrong with that? we all have looked up to someone during the course of our lives and our careers haven't we? generally they are called mentors. And if one isn't lucky enough to be under their direct teaching, then one just studies them and tries to do what they did in order to achieve success. I know that what we do everyday in business - we call them Business Models.

So could it just be that Obama is just fantastic at marketing and has a brilliant PR person teaching him the inside tricks instead of the apolictic AC?

i again agree to an extent with what your saying here - and take obama with a grain of salt as he very well could be the AC. I personally think he is a very strong candidate on the basis of other more metaphorical prophecies from an alternate source. But till he manifests himself as theroublesome Satan, i will give him the benefit of the doubt.

You are correct that the iraqi's love him and so does the rest of the world. But there is good reason for it - America is seen as the leader of the world and has used this status to do a lot of good things but more recently a whole lot of not so nice things as well. Everytime the world hears of another American move, we shudder to think of the potential for harm. But all of a sudden we have a black man who has been democratically voted as the leader of the world... the world see's that as a good thing. We hope that he will not display the arrogance of the departing president and will not attack sovereign countries indiscriminatingly.

I guess the two main reasons why I have my doubts about Obama being the Antichrist is the fact he is married with children and he does not seem to have the correct ancestry/heritage.

The prophecies seem to imply he will not have an intimate relationship with a female or a desire/yearning for women. Being that Obama is married, I can't imagine how we could get around this. The prophecies sound like the Anti-christ will be so drunk on his power and scheme that he will not have the time for or interest in familial/marital relationships.

Then we are told the A.C. will come out of the old Roman Empire. This is anywhere from Europe, the Middle East, or Northern Africa but none of those places appear to line up with Obama's heritage. I've seen some connect him to Assyria through his father but it seems really stretched.

Anyways, we won't know for sure until the time comes but I do have my doubts it will be him.

How about the first black president with a land slide victory...? I'd say that's pretty dramatic and an event to remember, not to mention fanfare is great with Obama as well...

Plus soooo many people just fell in love with him which was another red flag for me... Even I was strangely motivated...

Maybe people, yourself included are just sick and tired of the games the Bush Administration has been playing.

We as a country have gone through so much in the last eight years, almost 50 million of us cannot afford any kind of medical care, Take a look at how many houses are "forclosed", how many people are out of a job, how our borders are a joke and we as a country actually condoned torture meanwhile "the haves" have more and the middle class (who pays the bulk of the taxes) has been brought down to it's knees.

Are you aware that 51% of all our money as a country has been poured into the military. Now google "Who profits from the war in Iraq" (Most are personal friends of the Bush Cartel (ooops I mean family).

Our 43rd presidend used his power to personally advance his family and friends and left the rest of us to rot. This is what happens when people chose a bad leader.

Maybe people are for once in a very long time hopeful that finally we have a man moving into the White House that maybe has some ethics, back bone and intellegence (something our 43rd president didn't have).

You talk about mass hallucination, God, two years ago I was about the only one in my area that didn't like GWB and could see him for the idiot dictator he was.

Again, talk about mass hallucination, How in the heck could anyone vote for GWB twice?

The people we have to blame for the mess our country is currently in are the ignorant people who voted party prejudice (twice) for a man that couldn't even run the two companies his father gave him and then go along with all the lies (262 quoted in Paul Waldman's Book Fraud) and still believe that lying smirking face.

It's time for a change, hopefully Obama will be up to the task of straightening out the mess our country is in from the previous administration.

Maybe people are hopeful that we have a man of the people vs a corporate yes man.

Maybe the American people have finally woke up and figured out that Fox, CNN and all the other mega media conglomerates are all owned by a select few rich and CONTROL THE INFORMATION which they have bent and twisted to suit their agenda.

Maybe the American people have finally woke up and learned their lesson that voting party prejudice is mass suicide and a intellectual might just be able to run the country better then a big mouth bully.

No, I didn't notice Obama "changing" his accent. I have several e-mails from this courageous man when he was Senator of my state. He is a man of the people, not corporations and the corporation are scared because they know (unlike Bush) he cannot be bought.

Maybe there is some hope for us. Maybe I can finally change my ATS location logo from Corporate States of America to what our forefathers intended.

It's time for a change.


For once, in almost a decade there is hope again.

This is a good point and makes me think about another theory on this... The more I hear about the AC and how he is to rise, the more it sounds like a demonic possession... Maybe the person isn't chosen yet? Maybe it has to play out a certain way and then a possession is carried out and bam, we have the AC? That's the thing, is nobody will know till it happens... Is it a person that is alive already possessed by the AC? Is it Satan and is he mortal in his own body walking the earth right now? Or is it the son of satan? Did a woman give birth to the child and even better does the person even know they are the AC? Would he know his whole life? Or would he be led down a path to only find out later? If that's the case then it's plausible to see him raising a family... I don't buy the AC not having attraction to women... In fact I'd think he'd have any woman he wanted at his dissposal... Hey it's 300 years in the works at least as far as the US is concerned and probably thousands of years in the works prior, so it's a well thought out plan... But this is why we come together and brainstorm like this... Can't really count anything out, always have to keep an open mind...

Americans clearly chose their poison eight years ago.

The American People chose that is the key word. I know because I remember walking around hearing people in my office, at the super market and gas pump, everyone saying "oh what a wonderful, religious man this president is going to be" bla bla bla.

The American People placed this idiot into office and he messed up our country good. But, it is the American People that chose GWB (twice).

If anyone out there that actually voted for GWB - HAD DONE THEIR RESEARCH instead of just blindly going along with the media hype they would have found a lot of proof that GWB couldn't even run a company without bankrupting it (and taking off with the people's pension money/stealing) much less run a country.

Bush destroyed America for his own personal profit. If people had done their research before going into the polling booth they would have seen that.

By research I don't mean reading a newspaper for 30 minutes and watching the news.

How many people out there R.E.A.D. and watch the House of Rep & Congressional Channels?

Freedom does not come cheap and we must be ever vigilent to safeguard what our forefathers fought so hard for.

The majority of Americans no longer buy books, they buy fast food, movies and games.

Many American's are just too lazy to sit down and not be "spoon fed" their information. Reading is too hard a work.

Once a country becomes lazy, spoiled and greedy they decline.

I have an American accent, am Swiss and live in England.

My accent changes depending where I am. It's not something I do consciously. I don't hear myself with the differences either.

When I am in the States no one ever suspects that I am not American. When I am in Switzerland ( speaking English) I apparently speak with a "swiss" accent. I've lived in England for almost three years now and my family in America and Switzerland swear I am speaking with an English accent. *shrugs*

I'm pretty sure it's something that happens with people who are exposed to different languages and accents.

As far as him being the Anti-Christ...ROFL.

We will have a pretty good idea who the AC is if we keep an eye on who makes a seven year peace treaty with Israel. But we'll still only be left with a 'very possible candidate' at this point. The Bible makes it sound like the actual turning point and 100% 'out of the closet' moment regarding the identity of the AC is when he stands in the Jewish temple and declares himself to be God. Then, of course, watch out for the one who imposes the mark system. We should have a pretty good clue who it will be during the first part of the tribulation but all doubt will be removed when those two things happen at the 3 1/2 year mark.

I personally do not believe it is Satan incarnate or the biological son of Satan. I simply think it will be a man who completely turns himself over to Satan, though, albeit most likely unwittingly.

Well yes but that is what the prophecies state lol. It doesn't make much sense to us when the most powerful man in the world, who would have women falling at his feet, would not take advantage of that. This prophecy could possibly mean:

1). The AC will be homosexual (which I highly. highly doubt- it just wouldn't make any sense).

2). The AC will be from some religious movement or sect that does not allow their higher-ups to marry. Although I do not think the AC will be the pope or anything like that, let's just use the pope as an example. Just like the pope is not allowed to marry due to his faith, this might be true with the AC if he comes from some religious background that forbids him to marry.

3). As I said in my previous post, the AC will be so consumed with his power and the love of himself, he has no interest in women or love.

The last anti-christ (the Bible says there's more than one) will likely be someone who most people will say is not the anti-christ. He'll be a very likeable figure, one people will trust due to his apparent spread of 'peace'. The antichrist is the 'final exam' for believers and will surely test those who haven't studied their Book:

"Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son." - 1 John 2:22

"One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast." - Revelation 13:3

Sounds like an assassination attempt to me.

"The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months."

If we're talking a 4 year term, that means the wound was received about 5 to 6 months after taking office.

"He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation."

This is why I don't think it's a U.S. President. Hard thing to pull off. The U.N. in a few years maybe. Mr. Obama is a declared Christian (as have most U.S. Presidents have been in the past). With that declaration comes the pointing to God, not blasphemy, so it would require a change in position.

"All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world." Revelation 13:5-8

Well, that's the end of life for us Christians here on earth.

"He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
