How did you come across ATS?

A close friend of mine told me about ATS and so I stopped by and started reading. I was definitivly fascinated and registered a few weeks later and never regretted it ever since.
ATS and BTS is one of the widespread forums I have ever read.

I Googled "chat rooms" and it was one of the first results I got. I had not had much success with chat rooms in the past, as I found most of the conversations inane or just plain silly, but I guess I still had hopes.

When I saw it was about conspiracy theories I was instantly engaged. I have always enjoyed conspiracies and liked to read about them, even though I thought most of them were really far out there (I'm not so quick to judge now).

When I read the posts I found them unusually civil and intelligent. It was like being in college again when all sorts of ideas were thrown around late at night and lots of us students would sit around and just shoot the bull but often come up with interesting information and new ideas.

As they say in the movies, "The rest is history."
