Yes. I did. Found him through facebook. Met up with him and his girlfriend this summer, in my hometown and watched his band play live in the bar we used to frequent.

I have not but an old gf did find me after 14 years. Was a nice reunion dinner and night out. We maintain contact via emails and phone calls since she lives over 700 miles away.

Cheers!!!!

yes, both ways.. but it was more for closure or ammends. Never seeking to reconnect on any other level but a spiritual one. Usually to have a question answered.

Yes, I was looking for ...well ...three ex bfs and found them on stayfriends.
Two of them still are the lovely guys they used to be, we chat from time to time and we are on the same page even after the years have passed.

Besides that...I found many other friends and family who got lost somewhere , even my familiy in Oregon and Alaska turned up again.

Give it a chance

Yup! did a "google" search and found an e-mail address for her.

She replied but didn't have the guts to say much. I guess she was a little shocked at hearing from me.

Good to know I could find a needle in a hay stack but dissapointing to find out she was so defensive. Maybe she had an overpowering boyfriend who didn't understand those kind of "friendship" things.

I sent her a final e-mail to wish her all the best and saying thanks for clarifying why we split up.

Her loss.

I wonder if it's a good thing to go "back". I often think about people I knew, friends, girlfriends, etc. I don't think going back is good for some reason, even though I want to go back.

A friend of mine recently contacted me through myspace. I told her I was sorry for not showing up one day at a bar we were supposed to meet at. (Since then we both got married and had kids.) It was a misunderstanding but her friend gave me hell for it (not showing up.) I always felt very bad about it and thought that I must have hurt her feelings.

Then when she contacted me (after 10 years) a couple of weeks ago via myspace. I thought this is my chance to say sorry. When I did say sorry, she said she had no recollection of the incident at all! We really didn't have much in common or anything to say to each other anyway. SO the following week I noticed she removed herself from my myspace friends list. At least I got to say sorry, even if she claims not to have remembered.

I don't use myspace for socializing. I signed up because a band who had purchased one of my instruments were becoming pretty big and they wanted me to hear what they were doing, so I put a few pics of my instruments and some info about what I do (make musical instruments and electronic music machines).

Haha I had one of my ex's best friends contact me over the internet and see what I was doing. Found out she also was doing the same course at the same Uni but at a different campus to mine.

Yesss. Ive looked up probably 4 ex's AND my current boyfriend of 4 years just to see if I could find anything on him. Sounds weird lol but I was so nosey.

A couple years ago I even went as far as to contact my boyfriends ex girlfriend on myspace to ask some questions about him. I immediatly stopped because it was wrong, but I couldnt help myself!!!

I've looked them up, as my 20th HS reunion will be this year, but not for any amorous reasons... Married, with kids, is pretty much the jist...and hopefully, happy. The past is the past...never saw the sense in dwelling on it much...

Yes, but they are not as hot anymore, and neither am I. I enjoy dating in the 30's right now, which sort of leaves out my high school peers, I kind of like those memories in their pure form so I can hold onto them when I need encouragement.
