Thanks internos I am glad that you have posted on this thread. I am trying very hard to dig up info on possible explanations to ad to the eye topic I wish we could see that little guys eyes up close.

Not related but to illistrate my point about the eyes, (picture only for eye topic) see how the eyes are set into the skull, from this angle we can not determine the exact shape of them behind what is visable, in fact how do we know that these are the eyes to begin with they might be only the "covers" the link below has some very discriptive "alien appearence" content in the alien races section and it covers the eyes in many paragraphs and as you may read from the many descriptions not all the eyes are the same.

not that i believe these pics are real, but how do you know if the aliens would have the same bone and muscle structures as us? there appendages have been described as almost serpent like with no bones or joints.

So whats more likely if you assume some sort of alien life..that they would use a bone system that evolution has proven on this planet to work (and as they are humaneque in appearance its safe(ish) to assume that something very similar would be the solution in their evolution) or that they have no bones, or bones made of rubber?

I make a rule never to try and find an excuse or explanation why something may be real. The moment anyone does that they are taking it outside of the realm of known facts in a case and into a land of fantasy and speculation. Just to be clear, I'm not aiming this at you in particular, but in ufology in general. In my oppinion a case stands or falls on its merits due to the known facts and any evidence when placed under examination.

RE the eyes:

There is only so far out you can take an eyeball before its going to cause a whole host of other anatomy problems. Added to those there's the small problem of the cranium / eyes ratio as well. You dont realy want eyes to be more than just under half way out of the eye openings in the skulll..or the animal / creature/ alien / human risk there eyeballs falling out far easier due to injury etc

Wayne..
