Hello-

I am a long-time ATS member who is also an award-winning filmmaker...

I am making a film about Ouija Boards.

I need two groups of people:

1) A few experts in this area...

2) A few people who experienced really good, bad or weird things using them.

If you or someone you know is a part of either group... please post here,
and we can private U2U me their email.

One catch- it would be ideal for any of these people lived in the Northeast Mid-Atlantic part of the USA.

Please check a film of mine to determine my credibility:

www.TheLastGame.com

There is a short trailer to get a sense.

Thanks!

I know there are more people out there have something to tell
about their experience with this.

WHY DOES TOYS R US SELL A PORTAL TO THE SPIRIT WORLD AS A GAME?

It should be tightly controlled, like a gun or drug- it is too dangerous...

Or maybe people think it is harmless.

I just found the foremost expert on the Board.

I am making this movie for national TV- want to be on it telling
your story or experience or opinion?

All these threads about the Ouija-
and NO ONE wants to tell their story to the world on TV about it.

No one?

Last call... would like to hear about Ouija board stories
from people who would like to be interviewed for TV documentary
about them...

I will really be surprised if no one has an opinion to express to the world.

I have used the board in the past and had a few unexplainable experiences , which I attribute to using the Ouija board . I however do not live in the area you stated

I just got off the phone with the LEADING EXPERT in Ouija Boards...

He is going to be interviewed for the documentary...

Anyone else interested?

I had two experiences which were not "normal". The second experience was the one that led to a portal being open...at least I believe. I had many paranormal experiences after that which included over a 100 orbs of light on my ceiling, childrens voices, bed rattling, random pennies over the house, and more. This also could have been connected with my practicing wicca at the time...
If this is what you're looking for feel free to contact me and ask more questions. I live in Connecticut. Although if being interviewed involves me going near one again, no thank you

Not sure why this isn't getting responses. I would think there would be some input, good , bad, or indifferent. Only only used them a couple times with others as a child. If I trusted the other person....sorry,nothing freaky to report though.

HiDef, I'm not a filmmaker, but I think I'd contact some newspapers in larger cities (even the smaller outlying towns read the larger publications) and see if the newspapers would be interested in doing an interview/article that would explain what you're doing, why you're doing it, maybe an interesting story or two, and have them include contact information for those who may have experiences with this very thing.

In this manner, you'll not only reach a pretty wide audience, but those who respond will likely be nearby the newspapers that will enable a much closer regional travel conduit.

Good luck.

Hey HighDef...

I just saw your post, and I had one memorable experience with a Ouija board as a teenager that was pretty surreal. We used a Ouija board in a friends supposedly haunted house...There were four of us using the board, and it was the first time most of us ever did.

It started moving quickly when we asked questions, so I decided to ask it something NOBODY other than myself would know. That was "What is the first initial of my grandmothers maiden name?". Well, the board went right to the correct letter! I know I certainly wasn't pushing it...and the chances are pretty slim that the other people just happened to guess the right letter...It freaked me out bigtime!!!

My friends asked it what years they were going to die, and it gave them their ages. I never asked that question, and I'm glad!!! I've lost contact with them since then, so I have no idea if that part came true or not, but I remember they wouldn't have died yet anyway...

We also asked it other questions like "Are you angry with someone?" and "Who don't you like?" and it gave us responses as well. I have to say, I really don't think anyone was moving it after doing my own unscientific test...It was the LAST time I ever used a Ouija board.

I would be happy to contribute my story, and give whatever other details you might want.

If you want to make a documentary, an internet forum isn't the most credible place.

All well and good making a documentary about people experiances with a board, are you going to film a group actually using one, if so , you might want to grab a 'ghost hunting' crew with their equipment ready to measure any kind of results.

I for one live in the UK and would love to see a documentary about the boards..
And in my opinion a forum such as this is a good start to get a little feedback about experiences, however there are more sites out there. do some searching.

I would, I really would love to but alas nothing ever happend. My board is hanging on the wall now. It sits there harmlessly with the other stuff that should not be on a wall. I played with it a bunch as a kid. We used to hear so many scary stories about them and I always hopes some crazy thing would happen but it just never did.

I used one with my sister in my basement as children. Since then, every time I go to sleep at my parent's house I feel my feet being tickled. Additionally, I have heard multiple whispering voices in one occurrence as if they were having a conversation while I laid down to go to sleep. I have not been diagnosed with any psychosis, and since moving to my own apartment I have not experienced this phenomenom. Every Christmas, I stay the night at my parents house, and last year I experienced the same feet tickling sensation. I suppose it's a mixed feeling of anticipation and paranoid as to what I might experience this year.

I've had some really interesting experiences with ouija boards and had proper conversations with spirits through it. I once contacted a 18 year boy who died in a car accident in 1998, it was oddly persefic (sp?).

When using it I always try to predict the answer and outcome on the ouiji board to test whether I am subconciously moving it or if it is a spirit. I have never been successful at predicting the answer so my theory is that I think it is for real

Sadly though I live in England

Perhaps you could get arrange for the people doing it to be blindfolded and see what gibberish answers you get

If it was truly paranormal then surely that shouldnt be a problem, yet i have yet to meet ANYONE who has successfully managed to string a sentance together whilst blindfolded

meh, its a toy sold to gullible american children. Tonka toys were more harmful
