Sound it self can not go the speed of light. Sound is a vibration of molecules. (A wave) If sound traveled the speed of light the molecules would have to move at the speed of light. It is possible for �things� to go the speed of light and faster they just can�t accelerate to the speed of light. We have been capable of sending a wave (not sound waves more like radiation) well actual more like parts of waves but you could not send music this way. Also you could accelerate matter past the speed of light if the energy source was based on mass. Like a perpetual motion device (which are not possible. Also for those who keep saying that because some thing is theory its less important then so called scientific fact recall that all parts of science are theory since no matter how many times you experiment it does not total prove it true.

Sound travels 750 miles per hour. Light travels 300,000 miles per second. You do the math. I dont think 750mph X 5 = 300,000 miles per second.

Why should I be more careful of my posts in a thread that is more moronic than ANYTHING else on this board.

Sound can travel no faster than the medium it is in, on EARTH that is 750mph. As the last guy said, you do the math.

And that was wholy and ONLY my point, the fact that you have detracted the conversations else where as to a descrepancy of "nothing can travel faster than the speed of light" which is by far NOT a wrong statement, is the juvenile act.

More so though it is LIBERAL, because liberals are the ones, when faced with a fact they know they can't refute (sound travels only and no faster nor slower than 750mph in air) they break down to finding discrepancies and misspellings and bad grammar.
